The book help highlight areas that i never thought praying about for my wife. Please note that some of the prayers are there to help you to start praying for your wife. There are more areas to pray for that are not covered in the book. The book only cover the main areas. If you combine it with the other book in the series you can cover all areas. For instance if you wife is the one doing the finances you may want to pray also for her to do well in that particular area.

An excellent read both personally and as a study guide. Important information for men as well as husbands!!!

The spiritual content of this book is really good, it emphasises a lot of areas that its easy to take for granted. My only quibble with it is that it suggests men are of a particular type (football watching couch potatoes). Not all Christian or non-Christian men are like this. Not sure if this view has come across because the book is written by a woman. I am about half way through it and I have been delighted to see some areas that I can absolutely relate to. I am hoping to see more about the power of prayer in a marriage, and it woudl have been good to see a lot more strong pastoral input by a male writer, butu then I haven't finished the book yet. Worth considering!
