It’s self assembly but strong when assembled

Avoid
Splinters everywhere - unsafe for use by children. Allen key provided is rounded on one end and is deformed on the other - not hexagonal so does not fit the screws provided. Cheap and nasty. Avoid

Does what I needed it to
Bought to replace a list ladder for my kids bunk. Just fit and no more. Had to add extra long screws to the bottom as they only screw from top. I think it's for the bed that the sellers also sell but worked for us

Hooks don't fit
Good quality but ladder was smaller than suggested. Plus, the hooks don't fit over top bunk edge. No idea how to get wider hooks. Anyone?

Excellent quality
Excellent quality and very solid. We needed a new ladder as we had a three sleeper bunk bed (single on top and double at the bottom). I cut down the double bed into a single to create a standard bunkbed so original ladder did not fit anymore. This ladder was the perfect fit, came with all the screws and pre-drilled holes. I painted it white to match the beds and love it.

Solid ladder that feels well made
Overall the ladder is great, but it was a completely different length to what we ordered! If we'd assembled it as it was, we'd have three steps all equally spaced and some long bars sticking up in the air. Thankfully, we had a need to modify the ladder anyway, so the extra height worked out for us with new step mounting points drilled in. The wood seems to be of good quality, and all edges are smoothed off so there's no concern about splinters etc.

needed adjustment
All parts and nessary tools included. Easily assembled. However, I would suggest that the width of the hooks is stated in the product description, as the hooks would not fit over the bar of our bunk bed. My husband made some from some similar things he had and the ladder is now in place. ( if this was in the description and I didn't see it, I apologise!!)
