Not having a light is the problem my own fault for assuming it would Have a light apart from that not bad

This product is for Christmas gift. Product arrived earlier than expected.

I thought the 3.5x lens made things 3.5 times longer... it doesn't.I drew a line on a piece of paper a known length (3cm) put on the glasses on 3.5x magnification. I had expected a line of length 9cm, but I measured it and got one of 4.5 cm instead. That's a magnification of 1.5 x, for the 3.5x lens.Even if the magnification is for area, it's only 2.25x. You have to go to volume to get the right multiplier (1.5x^3 = 3.5x).If you're expecting better, you'll may be disappointed.

If you don’t mind looking like a sci-fi wally and want to see small things a LOT better then these are the headband magnifiers for you!Dead comfy and the magnification is great though you will need extra light. They’re not that light over time though, but given how frequently I use them it’s not important to me.

Does the job, albeit a bit flimsy. However a few modifications to the lens holder and the addition of a spectacle flash light attachment has improved the product no end.

Excellent fit and the lenses are easy to change. Higher magnification means working closer to the object.I have chosen the 2.5 mag as a comfortable working distance and everything is so much clearer, even though I already wear varifocal glasses.Thoroughly recommend this magnifier.

Good item the plastic studs to hold the eye piece in is poor I replaced them with small screws.

I bought these so I can see what I'm soldering whilst also wearing reading glasses with different corrections for each eye.They work well. Changing the lenses is a bit fiddly, but I don't think I'll need to do that often.
