I just installed this stereo receiver in my 2006 Mazda Miata. It is by far better than the factory stereo (which was acceptable). The sound quality was instantly noticeable as an improvement, the Dvd player loads quickly and has a nice clear display. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the Bluetooth setup was so easy with many options on the menu to customize. the stations on Fm that I could tune in to is better than any of my current car stereos, and i did the programming from inside my garage and the Fm stations I could pull in was impressive and all are clear. Once setup you can close the screen and it looks like a nice single din unit, with all the knobs and information needed for standard radio play. while streaming from my phone on Bluetooth I had to increase the volume a little but not too much. I am very pleased with this unit and I am going to purchase another one for my daily driver, if my wife is not pleased with the Blaupunkt stereo that i ordered for her then I will order one of these for her car as well. Time will tell if it continues to perform well. The unit is heavy for its size and it is just a bit large for a single din, as the trim plate that was supposed to go over the exterior mounting surface that came with the install kit did not fit but it looks just fine without it. I would suggest this unit for anyone that wants a full featured stereo with good quality sound ant a very reasonable price.
