Update: After checking everything on a new unit, I ended up realizing that one of the ports was mislabeled. Once I ran the cords the way they should have been, it worked and connected to my phone as well as my laptop. I like the unit and I think this one was a one-off. I have lots of fun with this for Karaoke and going LIVE ONLINE! High hopes. Everything worked great until I tried to use the special effects. Sound quality is good but I use a super cardioid xlr mic. Volume control is good. Fairly easy to use. Great size for recording on the go. My issue was that the sound is not coming out of the unit when I press the sound effects to the phone where it can be heard by anyone other than myself while wearing headphones. Set this up for a live karaoke and couldn’t use the sound effects because of this. Lightweight and plastic. No issue there but it’s unable to send special effect sounds out to whatever it is connected to. For this alone, I’m returning it. Customer service takes approximately ten hours to get back to you. I did my research for weeks and now I’m going to have to return it and wait for another. Check EVERYTHING the minute you receive this.

So far this has been the best set up with the Mic and the Sound Card DJ. The mic is really nice as you don't have to use as much volume in your voice to be heard. I think that is what makes this so much different than other bundles. I've been having fun with the different voices. One sounds like a deep male, a high pitched female, a chipmunk, a robotic, professional sound, and Karaoke. Plus all of the different types of noises that you can make with applause, cheering, laughing, awkward, and so much more. I would highly recommend this to those who are beginners or intermediate and are just wanting to do podcasts or lives. I know that if you want to take your career to a professional level; you might want to get one that costs more. This sound card doesn't let you move the bass and Treble up and down so that you can improve your voice quality. But the fact that this gives you the Bluetooth option or the plugin option; I believe that it gives more control to the user. I have had it for 8 months and I am still in love with the fact that this is just such a great setup. The long headphones that come with this are Super Super Amazing! If I can get more of these wired earbuds with the long cord I would definitely recommend getting those too.

You get what you pay for, so they say. In this case, I paid $96 with $30 off through Amazon, so it was $66. It's pretty basic, and the "effects" buttons are nothing really special, but what it does, it does well. It sounds pretty nice coming through my XLR microphone out to my PC. For what it is, it's pretty nice. If you're looking to play around with YouTube or Twitch video creation & just want a decent interface to the computer, go for it. It's not too bad, considering it's fairly cheap. And BTW, for those who may want to know, all three mic inputs can be used simultaneously. They're all tied to the same level control, so there's no independent level between the 3 mics, but that's not really a deal breaker to me.

Didn’t come with any instructions. Finally got it hooked up and it Makes a loud screeching noise the entire time it is on. Nothing will stop it. Waste of money.

Bought this as a cheap option to get into podcasting. I would recommend just to see if podcasting is for you
