Great case; it's harder to find good ones for older models of iPad but this one fits great and is plenty durable, providing plenty of protection against drops. I'll admit I got it for myself (no kids involved) to use at home because I liked the idea of a bigger case for better grip. The texture is nice and has decent grip, hard to drop. The handle is also nice on that front. Definitely adds a lot of bulk which makes it harder to fit in a backpack or whatever, so I do have another "regular" case I use when I need to take my iPad with me. But it's great for home use! Easy to remove and put the iPad back in, as well, if you want to use different cases (like me) or just need to clean it or whatever (?).

I recently purchased the iPad Pro 12.9" soft case, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed with its quality and functionality. Update 02/09/25: Used an exacto knife to cut out speaker slots on the front of the case. HUGE difference in sound clarity and volume. Very happy with the case now. This can very easily be implemented by the manufacturer and should be. Original review: Design flaw with the speaker cutouts/holes face towards the rear. Therefore sound fires backwards. You can still hear the audio pretty clearly but there is a noticeable degradation of sound clarity. Will soon be drilling forward firing speaker holes and will consider blocking/closing the rear firing holes. Will update once that happens. The “screen protector” is a flimsy sticky sheet of plastic. Assuming you bought this case for a kid, do yourself a favor and buy a proper screen protector. It’s cheap insurance for an expensive electronic. The handle on the case is great! Which doubles as a stand! Case is somewhat soft/squishy yet durable. Don’t want to test it, but I am certain it will protect the iPad from a fall. The iPad fits very snug which is a good thing. Daughter loves it and that’s that counts!

My iPad LCD broke because of the tight fit of this case. Vendor says : Our cases are advertised under the assumption that you are not using third party accessories with your tablet. i.e. additional cases, stands, tempered glass screen protectors, or third-party keyboards. The use of these accessories may render your case unsuitable. Tablet2Cases warrants that for one year from the original purchase, the product will be free from defects in materials and quality under regular use. Tablet2Cases' primary obligation under this warranty will be, at its option, to replace the product or refund the purchase. This warranty does not apply to products damaged by misuse, negligence, accident, or normal wear and tear. The warranty on the purchase does not cover your DEVICE. The Limited Warranty covers solely to the product; in this case, the rugged cover purchased. It was made mention by Marj that the rugged case is not able to protect your device in all situations. The rugged case protects the iPad against regular use and day-to-day incidents like dropping the iPad. Meaning, the rugged case does not guarantee your device to be ultimately immune from breaks. It only reduces the chances. The incident with your iPad can be related to the first law of Inertia: Which states that an object will stay at rest until it is acted upon by an unbalanced force. Under such circumstances, making your iPad unbreakable all depends on how the iPad is used. Under no circumstances shall Tablet2Cases be liable for any direct, incidental, punitive, or special consequential damages arising out or connected with the use of or inability to use our product or any installation application to our products. This limitation applies to alleged liability, which is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or other legal theory, even the possibility of damages of your tablet or iPad. It is with a heavy heart for me to let you know that we, unfortunately, are not able to cover the expenses of the iPad.

I’m a college student and needed a case that is affordable, durable, and light. This case has it all! Extremely light even when having the iPad Pro 12.9 inch mounted in it. I have tempered glass installed for screen protection, so there is no need for a screen cover. As a trade, I get quick access to the screen when needed ( don’t have to flip open the case to use the screen). The final point is the Apple Pencil holder. The slot for the pencil is just right ( not too loose nor too rigid) and it is safe to put the pencil there. I’ve used the same style of case for an older iPad for years before upgraded to the iPad Pro and it never disappointed me. The previous case still stays the same til the day I gave it away. I am not rough with my devices, but I like the care free feeling of knowing that it will be protected, that way I can allow myself to be more productive with this size of an iPad. You will not regret your purchase if you are not into the slim looks.

This case and screen protector are very easy to apply and protect our iPad Pro completely. The quality is very sturdy and stands up well when propped with the bendable base.
