This is a great cabinet. Easy and quick assembly. Curious cabinet comes with lighted top shelf. Recommend

The one I received was a little bit of a mixed bag, but is nice enough for the price. The unit contained 1/4" fluted dowel pins, however, the holes were drilled out for 5/16" except for two random ones which were drilled to 3/8". I replaced them with correct sized pins from Home Depot. Only the top of the cabinet is lighted. I was disappointed in this and replaced the included lighting with an LED lighting kit which I installed into both the top and bottom. The finish on the outward facing pieces is nice enough, however, some surfaces which are hidden from view appear to have had only a cursory sanding, with a couple looking like they came right off a table saw. It appears the pieces were stained with a sprayer and from above as the beadwork was unstained on one side. I cleaned those areas up and restrained. I'd say it's a five foot piece of furniture. Anything closer and you'll see the imperfections. Some pieces were cracked where the anchors were hammered into them for the bolts. I injected the cracks with Gorilla Glue, clamped and restrained the cracks. One of the jigs for the hinges must have been off as the predrilled holes were completely crooked. I redrilled those so the doors would hang straight. Be careful installing the mirrors in the back as the tolerance were off on mine and too much pressure on the corners could crack the mirror. I shimmed mine for support. All in all if you're careful during assembly the end product is nice enough, especially for the cost.

Although it seems a bit small for the price, my wife is very happy with it. The light is only on the top shelf, that is our biggest complaint. The mirrors are not glass, but look great.

The cabinet was nice enough for the money but I only received 3 shelves total. The assembly was easy enough and the finish was OK, I just had to touch up a few spots with a stain pen and the dowels were not tight in a few places, I hope the glue holds. Also one of the short bolts for connecting the two parts was missing so again, hope the glued dowels are adequate. If I was supposed to get a 4th shelf, 3 shelf brackets were missing too. In all, I'm a little disappointed because one section only has one shelf but for a curio cabinet, it was cheap.
