Perfect.
Due to my car being made in an era where the 12v socket was used exclusively for lighting cigarettes, using chargers was untidy as it would mean the cover being half open and flapping around, so I wanted an alternative solution.Previously, I had a dual port QC 3.0 charger in the 12v socket, with a cable plugged into it and routed through the center console to my wireless charging mount. With the (coincidental?) help of the included bracket, I relocated my 12v socket. I installed the panel in it's original place. I hard-wired in my charger and concealed it under the center console, where I ran one of it's connection to my phone mount, and one of the connections to the USB port on the panel. I also ran the AUX of this panel to my head unit's rear mounted AUX port. Thanks to this item I've been able to tidy up my car without losing any functionality. The wiring for my phone mount is entirely hidden, I have nothing propping the ashtray/former socket cover open, and I still have a QC3.0 charging port and aux connection available for the rare times I find myself needing them.

This is not USB 3.0 at all.
Plugged this into the back of my Pioneer head unit which has USB and AUX port. The USB port on the back of the head unit is only USB 2.0 so I thought this would be sufficient.Unfortunately, while the USB port works fine with my Nokia 7 Plus, it does not with my Pixel 2 XL. The connection is 1 second on and 1 second off so I can never get Android Auto to work on my Pixel 2 XL which is my main phone. If I plug the phone directly into the port at the back of the stereo, it works fine so I know it's not the USB C cable that I am using.Somehow this so called "USB 3.0" cable reduces the power output making the connection unstable. It performs as though I had plugged a USB 1.0 cable in.Did not try the aux port, will return this for a generic USB extension cable.

Used it on the car to add an AUX and USB port extension for the back of the radio. Fitted perfectly (you need a 30mm holesaw for a flush fit)

Works perfectly to connect usb/aux to head units
Used this to add usb/aux functionality from a new headunit to my dash board and this did the job perfectly.
