I like these over the newer version
Easy to set up most of the time; on occasion I had a stubborn camera that took a little longer. I like these because I can view them away from home, they're inexpensive, and easy to set up viewing on third party apps like IP Camera Viewer for quick and easy multiple camera viewing. The D- Link app and website are both really slow and at times difficult to connect with.

Great little camera!
This was my first attempt at buying a refurbished, used, item from just about anywhere. I was delighted with the purchase! No box or manuals but the camera was in like new condition and all the accessories were included with the camera and manuals are available on line. It performs better than expected. Price was extremely reasonable, less that half of a compatible full retail unit. I highly recommend.

Typical D-Link setup problem
Would not connect with app. Even tried and failed every known additional D-Link trick to get it to successfully register (learned over many years of using their cameras). Been a common D-Link problem forever. If you get a good unit they sync right up with mydlink app. If you get a bad one it will say the QR code is invalid, the PIN code is incorrect, other codes not recognized. Sometimes a Factory Reset helps but not with this one. Bottom line - D-Link setup is ALWAYS hit or miss. Products are great WHEN they work but tech support and customer service is about non-existent, and these units have been out of production for years so that likely isn't available anyway. It's a complete roll of the dice. Do you feel lucky?

I’m Overall Happy
These are definitely refurbish units. But they’re in overall good shape. CAUTION: Warning… Danger… one consequence of being refurbished units is that four of my five arrived still connected to their previous owners accounts. If you just plug ‘em in and walk away, the previous owner will have access to your camera feed and any recordings it may make will be stored in the previous owner’s account. Yikes! You will need a toothpick or unbent paperclip. On the back of the camera, you will find a tiny hole marked in very tiny text “RESET.” Before connecting power, press and hold this button down. Hold it down as you apply power. Hold it for thirty seconds. This will factory reset the camera, take if off of it’s previous owner’s account, and allow you to register it to your account. This should have been done as part of the refurb process. Shame on DLink for missing this. To use these cameras, you will need to purchase a DLink account. Check out the price of that before you buy these cameras. As far as I can tell, there is no free option. Once I figured out the factory reset thing, setup went easily. You will need to know your WiFi network name and password. The video from these units is remarkably good. Sound? Not so much. The included documentation is absolutely minimal. The App is not entirely obvious. I also found that sometimes, when I added a camera or made a change, it didn’t show up until I quit the app and restarted it. Overall, I think this is a lot of function for the price. I’m happy.

Wide range
I love how much you can see in one shot. I would have give it 5 stars but during the daytime it's hard to see the picture.
