I love this product and the concept of it. That said, the piece that attaches to your flash is a struggle to get on the flash and it is too heavy to use your flash at a 45 degree angle without holding it in place. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase but would encourage any prospective buyers to consider the above information.

The ease of use is what drawled me to this system. Couple that with the magnets, makes it easy to use any gels you want besides the ones supplied gave even more functionality to the system than I originally expected. If your shoot events, this is a must have

My god, of all the time I wasted on the cheap knock-offs only realizing that they did not even contribute 1% improve on my skills and photography. So, I watched lots of videos on youtube and read lots of articles on the web and sub-reddits on the Reddit finally finding value in something expensive. So, long story short, if you have a clear vision on your photography and want make it in a pro level, then you'll be needing this for sure. It really makes a photo alive and fills with soul. This is my honest review after using it for more than almost 2+ years.

Am just a recreational photographer. Have the MagMod Professional Flash Kit for 6 months. Really helpful with my advancement in taking photos. Love especially the MagMod Sphere and Bounce.While the products were maybe more expensive ... works for me well. I tend to use the MagSphere and MagBounce the most. MagSphere for indoor with low ceilings. MagBounce for high ceiling and outdoor as a small softbox. Very fast set up as compared to MagBox but love that tooGreat products for a recreational photographer.
