Nauseating Chemical Odor
Product seems well built, but comes with a nauseating chemical odor, likely from foam or glue used in manufacturing. Odor present on replacement product as well. The strong odor dissipated some after a few weeks of airing out, but still remains. I wanted to like this product, but could not move past the horrific chemical odor on a product used to store a food-preparation kitchen appliance.

Fantastic
Case is great for transporting the Joule to and from work when I need it. It is molded inside to fit the Joule in nicely. There is not room to carry much else in the case, not that most people would want to. There is a mesh pocket to hold recipe cards or a small notebook. I did drop it getting out of my car from a height of about 4 feet and the Joule was perfectly fine. For me, it is a must have to protect the Joule when not in use.

Nice, zippered, case for Joule
My Joule fits in this very well. I should have waited to order it though until I had my Joule because the Joule came in a nice, sturdy box that would have been perfect for storage.

Just guessing on the bucket
I’ve had this a year now and this is one of the best tools for cooking. Don’t forget the case so you have something to store it and the Rubbermaid clear, I forgot what they call it. I guess bucket.

Fits nicely, the zipper feels a little flimsy
It is a nice sturdy case, the only issue I see being the zipper does not feel terribly robust, it feels like one needs to take care when zipping/unzipping if you want it to last

Cooking using pictures is a very smart way to cook. However, there are occasions when one needs to cook using time and temperature. This device would be the top Sous Vide machine out there if it had the capability to go via pictures or time and temperature.
