12.5kg Dawn Chorus Insect Suet Pellets

My garden birds love these and wolf them down. I hope I'm giving them the nutrition they need.

The wild birds love these and l feel lm doing my bit to help them get through the winter with the suet pellets and the high fat content. They are a very reasonable price and arrive well packaged.

Bought these from different suppliers over the years and quality is generally very good. Box was a bit battered on this occasion but pellets also in plastic bag so they were ok. update 31/12/20 Bought for the second time from this supplier. Unfortunately the box arrived split and the bag inside was damaged allowing pellets to spill out. Clearly the box is not fit for purpose and needs upgrading.

All birds in our garden loved the pellets

All pellet feeders empty within an hour! Birds are waiting every morning. Unfortunately they have become too expensive for more than one feeding session each day. I have 14 feeding stations with suet pellets, fat balls, seed, peanuts and mealworm.

I was using a well-known brand of suet pellets (with insects) which was loved by the birds and which would disappear at a great rate of knots with all sort of tits and finches visiting the feeders. However, that was costing me £25.99 for 12.5kg and so I thought I would try this Twootz in order to make things more affordable. I've filled the normal two bird feeders which have been out for several days now. Apart from a little passing interest by a couple of blue tits and a small group of long-tailed tits the birds are not interested in this food whereas the next door neighbours feeders are still busy. Today is cold and frosty but still no diners at the feeders. I will give it a little longer but so far it has been disappointing and is probably going to end up being money wasted as it might have to be thrown away. It looked so promising too!
