Plackers Dental Flossers Micro Mint - 90 Count

I first encountered Plackers Dental Flossers in the USA, and made a point of buying plenty whenever I was over. Finding them on Amazon in the UK was a bonus.Unlike most flossers, these ones are not only easy to hold due to the flat handles, they also floss for a decent length of time without immediately bunching up. The tough floss is effective even with tight spaces between teeth.The built-in toothpick is also a good design - deployed by bending the end of the handle back on itself. This means it doesn't dig into your hand when you're flossing, and helps give you that stable handle when it's not in use.The toothpick is strong and effective. It is also very good for scraping pocket fluff out of iPhone charging sockets without shorting out the connectors. A versatile tool indeed!

I first picked up Plackers from a friend in the US who sent a box of very random items for me one Christmas. Before then, I'd been using the horrible out-of-a-reel floss, and the floss harps I'd bought here in the UK kept making my teeth squeak (which sets my spine chilling just thinking about it...!)Since then, every so often I've ordered in a large pack of these Plackers. They don't degrade, are pleasantly minty, sturdy and - most importantly - the floss itself is very easy-going. It doesn't shred, nor does it 'stick' or squeak. A while ago, Plackers were out of stock so I bought some local brand, which cut a gum (I suspect that's 99% my own fault, however) so immediately gave them up and ordered the ol' reliable Plackers.They're expensive, compared to just picking up a pack in the shop, but this is one of the things I'm happy to spend a little more on.The only issue I've had is with the new placement of the toothpick - I can see exactly why this is a better layout (the pick centred in the floss harp rather than at the end as they previously were), but I keep stabbing my thumb as the floss harp bends a little. This is a minor annoyance though, and I'll get used to it.

Been buying these for a while and I highly recommend them.

I don't know why they market these as 'mint' flossers as there is no mint flavour what-so-ever. However they are probably the strongest flossers out there - most others I use just tear and are next to useless but these are tough!

I have used these for many years, much better than floss. I always keep one in my pocket. Thank You Plackers

I have tried many diff floss and this one is absolutely the best one yet! It is much more expensive than any you can find in walmart for example but I'd say it is worth the price. The floss does not break or rip into threads sticking out from the main thread when I floss. And the thread is thin all the way around. It is not flat and wide like the other brands. I like this floss the best.

Prodotto conosciuto per la prima volta in USA e mai più abbandonato. Comodo da usare, efficiente ed efficace. L’unica pecca: perché non avete mai pensato di confezionarli in pacchetti da 10/20 ? Sarebbe più igienico.
