Optivisor LP-5 2.5x Magnification Lens Plate

I purchased the OPTIVISOR head band unit that this fits into-so this is not so much about this particular item but the whole system---it is really uncomfortable-and as I have realised---grossly overpriced-I was fooled by the positive reviews on this system --real or not--but there are more and in my opinion much better systems out there --one word of warning if you are thinking of buying any of these spares--be aware of the focal length before purchasing as it is so tempting to go for the larger magnifications -innocently thinking you will see better and to be truthful you will but you must realise that the item you are looking at with --let's just say a 10x lense will need to be placed inches from your eyes--try working on anything that close to you.--all in all very disappointed with this American system.

I needed this as my eyes are not what they used to be when I was a jeweller some 20 years ago.It will come in handy when I get back on the jewellery bench again.

With eyesight failing, these are a must. Use them for setting guitar necks

Just recieved the LP-4 X2 lens plate, it is just what i needed, no more straining to see the tiny details that are part of modern modelling. Every thing is brought to me in crystal clear excellence would thoroughly recommend thisproduct. One word of warning, make sure you order the correct distance/magnification.J Hutton
