Love, love, LOVE this cup!
I've tried two other types of cups with various success, but ultimately kept looking for the cup that best suited my needs. I've finally found it! Out of the three it is by far the easiest to insert (which I didn't expect because it's quite soft for a menstrual cup). I didn't need any practice or adjustment period, as I have with the other two cups. Very easy to use and I've had no accidents whatsoever. More importantly however, it has also been the easiest cup to remove (which has been my main issue with the other cups I've owned). Appearantly, my cervix is rather high and I've had problems reaching/removing the other cups in the past, making my feel anxious about using them... But the lily cup fits me perfectly. I can reach the stem quite easily, and at the same time the stem is not too long and in the way. That would also be my advice to others: Keep your height in mind as well, when you choose a cup. The manufacturers only tell you to choose cup size depending on your age and if you have had any children or not. My theory is that height matters as well. But please keep in mind it is just a theory. But for those of you reading this review and who may have experienced problems reaching your previous cups, this works for me and I'm 1,75. Another customer left a review stating the cup "was huge" and I almost didn't buy a lily cup based on that review. I'm glad I did though - I find the cup itself is no bigger than other size 2 cups. It's longer and in a different shape, but not bigger and not huge. Only slight disadvantage: the "collar" on top makes it a bit of a hassle to clean, but it is my understanding that it is also the collar that keeps it so safe from accidents. So I can definitely live with that!

Great soft cup and super easy to get used to
I bought this after a while of using the mooncup for a while, since the mooncup was too stiff for me. The mooncup made my cramps worse and made peeing difficult (TMI I know, but I want to give a good review for those who have the same issues). I also struggled with getting the mooncup out sometimes and it’d take a bit of time to get it out and end up hurting myself. Compared to the mooncup, the lily cup looks much longer which worried me, but because of the shape it has it actually fits just fine. I had to trim a little bit of the stem (same with the mooncup) but after that I didn’t have any issues. It’s considerably softer, so I stopped having issues with cramping or going to the toilet. It also doesn’t have a thick portruding rim at the top which I think contributed to the issues I had with cramps and peeing. The top is still firm enough compared to the rest of it, so it also opens easily once you have put it on, so it doesn’t leak. Because of the shape being shorter at the front, I found that it made it miles easier to slide and break the seal when emptying it. Since the silicone is much softer too, but the base is firm it makes it really easy to pinch and grip in order to slide it off and breaking the seal. I wouldn’t say I am a very experienced menstrual cup user, but all in all I found that this one eliminated most of the issues I’ve previously had and it was very easy to get used to. I was comfortable with using it within a couple times of putting it on and taking it out. Every vagina will have different necessities in terms of menstrual cups unfortunately so it won’t work for every single person, but if the issues I had before sound familiar, this cup is 100% worth a shot, I’m super happy with it!

Great Product
Waited a bit to write this review - I like the material of this cup, very soft and easier to fold than the mooncup, the shape suits me better but it does take a bit of effort to get it to seal properly, I’ve had two leaks because of this but I guess it just takes getting used to. I do prefer using this cup and cups in general, eases cramping and can be left in longer, more comfortable than tampons and pass when in correctly and I don’t have any odour from them. Gave 3 stars for ease of use, like I said takes a bit of practice and the first time I was out when the seal failed, wasn’t pleasant and you need a clean toilet to at least try and reinsert it which I didn’t have access to so it was quiet disgusting and unsanitary to get it back in but got there in the end. Takes a bit of practice to get insertion and removal right but once you do you’ll never look back, would definitely recommend and will be using from now on, great product, just practice using and bring other sanitary items when out and about until confident using

Super strong suction😖
On first impressions this cup seemed great felt nice and smooth, took a bit of practice inserting but easy to remove. Once in place, stuck to my insides like glue which created cramps 😖 I've usually got quite a high pain threshold havin fibromyalgia and sciatica flare ups but these were the worst cramps I'd ever had. Thought maybe I've just gotta get used to it as my moon cup was slightly different, so persevered had no relief from the pain til the cycle was over and cup was out! Waited til the next cycle to start popped the cup in and the pain was 10× worse- actually felt like I was in established labour! By the third day the cramps have usually subsided but noo the pain was exactly the same as day 1, could not hack it anymore so ripped the cup out and binned it, needless to say used pads for the remainder of the cycle. Have since bought the tulip cup and have had no problems. Do not use if you're not good with pain!

Consigliatissima!

For me, it's too long, I feel constant pressure inside, and it's very difficult to remove, but quite easy to install. It is rigid and prevents leaks. I used to use a softer cup, but it was difficult to install. So for me it's a disappointment in comfort, but a satisfaction in reliability. I use it when I want to be sure that there will be no leaks - for swimming.

I’m in my mid-30s, I have a very high and very tilted cervix (up and to my left), I have vestibulodynia (nerve pain at the entrance of my vjj), and I have been using menstrual cups for 10+ years — from way back in the Dark Ages of Cups (~2007), when we only had the Keeper, the Moon Cup, and the Diva. Since then, I have tried tons of different cup brands, styles, sizes, etc. I LOVE using cups instead of pads and tampons, but the main problem for me has been that they always leak, which is really common for people who have a high, tilted cervix (ahem). A secondary problem for me is that because almost all cups have a very thick lip around the top rim, I find them quite painful (temporarily) to insert and remove because of my vestibulodynia. The Lily is the first cup I’ve EVER USED that does not leak and does not hurt. I can hardly believe it. I’ve worn it for two cycles now and, for the first time ever, was able to not have to wear a pantyliner at the same time. The Lily is a very tall cup, so it’s good for those of us who have high cervixes. I also think the angled rim helps in positioning the cup to accommodate the tilt of mine. The silicone material is *extremely* soft, much softer than any other cup I’ve previously used. Instead of that thick lip at the top that most other cops have, the Lily has a bit of a ledge around the inner circumference at the top. This, coupled with the soft silicone material, makes insertion and removal an EFFING BREEZE and nearly painless, which is honestly a godsend for me. However, the super soft material also meant the Lily didn’t expand/seal immediately upon insertion; it stayed “dented” on one side for several minutes. I had to rotate the cup a few times and use my index finger to press on its side, and eventually it expanded and sealed. Removal was easy, and the stem feels like it’s really strongly connected to the base of a cup and won’t be easily ripped off (a common problem with many other cup designs). Using the Lily was the first time I’ve ever removed a cup where there wasn’t also blood on the outside of the cup (which means no leaks!!). I nearly cried: I’ve finally found a cup that (1) is tall enough (high cervix), (2) has an angled top (tilted cervix), (3) is made of super soft silicone (better for my pain issues), and (4) doesn’t have that super thick lip around the top edge (ditto). I swear, the person who designed this cup must have the same anatomy as I do! SO GRATEFUL, immediately buying another. Thanks a million, Lily!
