Ordered this for my dad who had a skin graft to his inside of the left foot pass ankle area and the back area of the foot . The orders were to elevate foot above the level of the heart. This did it. Good because pillows do not support. The foot gets embedded into it. They slip and fall down. Got the one of the elevation pillows for two legs because it was more comfortable. It has handles in each side of where the leg should go so if you need to bring it more towards you or it moves you can pull it. It also has a handle so you can easily carry it. Overall it is firm and sturdy and it has done what it needed to do. Would recommend it to elevate your feet and definitely buy it if you have had any kind of surgery from the knee down. And most important my dad loves it and uses it. Hope this helps someone to get it. I have not washed the covers yet so I cannot say anything about it.

Excellent product and very comfortable! I was able. to sleep the entire night. The quality is also excellent and you can change the heights to fit your body.

I just broke my leg and had surgery, and I can't live without this thing. Pillows/blankets were too unstable and uncomfortable, this was so worth the investment! I love the adjustable heights for when I'm laying in bed vs lounging on the sofa. It's firm and just soft enough at the same time, and I like the handles that make it easier to scoot toward me when I'm first settling in. I like sitting with both of my legs on top of it. If you're injured and debating whether you want to get this, just buy it. You won't regret it and it will make the next few months much more comfortable. Happy healing!

I had achilles surgery on Wed Feb 19th and needed a leg wedge. After looking at all the reviews I chose this one. It was vacuum sealed so right out of the bag it looked terrible but 48hrs later (put it in the closet and forgot about it) it was ideal. It's softer than I expected which it good. It's still very firm and supportive. It also has grippies on the bottom that keep ot from slipping too much and with handle to grab or adjust it it's been exactly what I needed.

Had knee replacement in the past - used several pillows, which sucked. Just had foot surgery. Used several pillows, which still sucked. Decided I needed a dedicated elevated leg pillow to help with the continual swelling in my legs and in case of future knee replacement in my other knee.Enter the adjustable elevated leg pillow. When I received the item, it came in a small box. Wish I had taken pictures. I'm saying this so anyone who gets this item, isn't as shocked as I was. (Will admit, if this is listed in reviews, I haven't read it). The box was roughly (from memory) 6x6x12. I pulled out a small item, cut the plastic that has been wrapped extremely tightly around it and looked a small limp piece of fabric encased foam. I found the instruction booklet. It said to allow the pillow to set for 24 hours prior to use. I set the pillow aside, hoping for I didn't just make a mistake, and went to sleep.By the next morning, the pillow had grown. It had filled out something fierce! There were 3 pieces to this pillow, and they had pretty much quadrupled in size. So....let the pillow rest - do not think you're going to use it right away.There are 3 pieces to control the height of the pillow. I used the base and middle part, which has the curved indentation for your legs. I laid down and felt immediate relief. My legs did not roll off the side and I could even lie on my side while my legs stayed on the pillow. I'm 175 and have short, large legs. Both legs fit great and had plenty of room. It is very firm but soft. It was a great purchase. I only wish I had it for my knee replacement. No smell.Sadly, I have to share it. Once Grey Kitty got on it, she has claimed it as hers. When I'm not using it, she uses it as a bed. It's that comfortable!The only con I can see is storage. It is large. When I'm not using it, I take it off the bed, and place it in the closet. But it takes up a lot of space in the closet.

I use the middle section when sleeping in my reclining chair. Its longer length prevents "ankle droop" as most lounge chair leg lifts are too short for full support (even though I am 5'4"). Cover is OK and stitching is firm, but will it hold up? I hope so. Side supports keep legs in place but with room to shift position. The height, added to the chair's lift, helps reduce swollen legs. Memory foam is firm, but gentle. I have not yet needed to use the bottom section or the pillow top.Overall my sleep is much improved due to better leg support.

I bought this for the first time last year when I broke my ankle. It was a lifesaver. This year my husband had knee replacement surgery. Once again, it has proved invaluable. He uses it every day. We bought one for a friend who also had knee surgery. She sent a photo today to tell us how much she loves it. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I tore 3 ligaments in my ankle and this has been so helpful! It’s really comfortable to sleep with, really sturdy and easy to use. I also work from home so I have my ankle up on a stool to help with swelling, and this has made it more comfortable and has good support to elevate my ankle all day too.
