CLAM 10809 Tent, Large, Camouflage

Absolutely love our new clam screen room! After a lot of research I chose the clam for it's quick n easy up. We'll be using every weekend at our permanent campsite and didn't want to fuss with poles and pop ups that take a lot of work to put up. Yes..per some other reviews... it is a long package to fit in a car or trunk, but if you can figure a way...it is well worth it. I'm a 52 year old grandma and can get the clam out of its carrying bag and have it up myself in less than 2 minutes. Took me longer to put in the stakes! Easy down too..about 3 minutes. The screens are awesome..there is nothing getting through this weave. The skirting at the bottom is great at keeping things from coming under the sides too. We ended up with cammo model because it was the only one with prime shipping that would arrive in 2 days free. Glad now because from others photos, the green and tan appear like they may be really dark when you're inside. We have so much room in here..I'm writing this review from inside. We have a 4 ft table, 4 chairs and a 2 seat bistro set inside and it still feels spacious. Adding 3 wind panels were a huge help during a torrential downpour our 2nd night of use. I highly suggest them. Great for privacy too, if needed. After the rain I just dropped each side a few Velcro spots. The no-see-um tight weaved screens will block air flow...so on hot 90 degree, humid and sticky days, it's too hot inside without a fan, but I was able to rig a mini "ceiling fan" up which makes ALL the difference. The wind blocking effect will become a PLUS, come Fall. Next I'd like to create a way to make the screen door magnetically close! The Clam is holding up in wind too. We had 35 mph gusts with our first rain..by having the perimeter base staked down, the clam didn't even flinch. If you're in the market for an easy up, no fuss, bugfree screen room, I highly recommend the Clam. This is a heavy-duty...well-made product. Looks like I'm happy as a..........CLAM! I know, that was tacky.

OK so here is the positive and the negative I will definitely say that this is the fastest going up gazebo I’ve ever seen literally less than a minute to put it up and literally less than a minute to take it down. I bought three side panels for privacy unfortunately the Velcro didn’t match up exactly on the top so I had to put self adhesive Velcro to match up to the gazebo which was OK it worked out perfect. It is very sturdy and made very well I’ve used it about eight times since I got it in June I purchased it for Camping for over the picnic table by our camper I will say when it’s hot out it definitely feels like a sauna inside it’ll definitely be awesome in the fall There are two small spots in the screen where it looks like it wants to separate probably half the size of a dime so before it ripped I took heavy duty carpet thread and loosely stitched a little bun so it wouldn’t tear And create a hole I alsoPurchased 1 inch iron on Little bees and of course I couldn’t iron them on so I glued them on the thread on each side with E-6000 glue so you didn’t see the thread and it looked cute. I’ve actually had a couple people say oh my gosh I’ve never seen such huge bees and of course I had to laugh Here’s the negative and a warning whatever you do watch the video we were in a hurry one day setting up and yes it is very easy to get it inside out and it is a nightmare to get it back fortunately we did a few hours later and I promise you we will never make the same mistake it is very difficult to get back to the way it supposed to be. Otherwise we absolutely love the gazebo and I hope we get a few years out of it. 😁

We were really blown away by this tent. We didn’t expect much (it is just a camping screen room after all) and were very surprised! Especially my husband who thinks products are often poor quality and badly designed was quite impressed with this one. It is a really light for its size, very easy to set up, well thought through and very sturdy. Comes with a spacious carry bag that fits not only the tent but the side covers too (I had purchased those separately) and easily fits inside our Subaru Outback. It seriously took three minutes to set up in three minutes to fold it back. This one has a cover flap so should do well in the rain, but we haven’t tested that part yet. It is very convenient to bring along for any outdoor activity and seems like a no brainer now. I am glad we found this gem.

Great item!! Do not move fast! Take it slow and watch what you are doing- you can unfold it inside out if not careful! You can fix it, but if you do just do not pull out too many poles! Other than that quick oops, on our part we are so happy with this! Had it up in 10-15 mph winds no problem just put the stakes in!! Purchased 3 walls and they are a must have, shade and privacy in seconds, and everything fits in the carry bag! Even the 3 extra walls! Yea it’s a little heavy but the sturdy construction and easy set up and tear down makes up for it!!

Amazing! Literally sets up in under a minute and comes down just as fast. Fits right back in bag with ease. The outer walls you purchase separate fit and work great!

Super easy to set up. with the panels installed we stay dry in the worst rain storm. I only wish they made a door Panel ...
