I wear Altra Lone Peak shoes for my trail runs, and I wanted a street/treadmill shoe. I ran with these Provision 7 shoes for 40 minutes this morning. Unless they start falling apart, my expectations are high.

I ordered 3 pair. Altra shoes have been a favorite since they came out. I did find the correction for pronation took a minute to get used to since my heel is a little wider, but otherwise the fit is snug and secure. The sole is great, very grippy.

I love the Altra brand. These trainers however were problematic for me. Nice toe box, but the heel cup is very narrow. At first I took it to be just a stabilization feature and I ran a dozen or so miles in them. My right heel aches now from being squeezed. Never had this problem before, so I asked for a replacement from Amazon. Same issue with the new pair. I guess its just the model?

I walk 5-6 miles a day and these shoes make it easy. I hope they wear well, too.

Received a used one in the repackaged box for the advertised as a new one. Not happy to be deceived.

Overall best running shoes I've ever owned.
