Fun!
Got this for my Dad as a way to pass time during the pandemic. He is very interested in WWII after having grown up during it. It took him a few days to build it, especially since it's got lots of tiny pieces. Those tiny pieces are good because it kept him busy and out of my Mum's way haha! He enjoyed the end product as well. I would buy another for him if there were different planes available!

Enjoyable to build and looks good.
This was trickier to build than the simpler Sherman Tank. Still, very satisfying and the finished plane weighs enough to make it feel substantial and looks cool. Be warned, the instructions are on the slight side and you'll need to go backwards a few times and make a few assumptions, but eventually you'll get to the end.

Fun to build kit
How an 8 year old could put this together is beyond me? An 8 year old with a keen parent perhaps!Luckily bought for an adult husband, he took a look at it and said “you can do it!”I did and 4 hours later it was complete...I enjoyed putting it together and we were both impressed with the end result

Quality gift.
I bought this for my boyfriend. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. It comes in a really nice quality box. All the pieces are compartmentalized and it also includes a little screwdriver etc for construction. He hasn't built it yet, but he is very happy with it.

Improve the instructions
I bought this originally for my partner ( aged 52 ) but he struggled because he has large hands and a lot of items are small. So I took over ( aged 54 ) I really enjoyed putting the spitfire together but the instructions etc was actually really bad so I ended taking it apart a few times and redoing it. I think this is something they need to look at and improve : )

Great model, missing parts
Great model but we are missing 6 “H2” pieces - if anyone from Metal Construction Kit is reading this and could arrange to send them in to us so we can complete the model, that would be great.Ps. One week after writing this review, we received parts to enable completion of the model. Well done and thank you to the seller.
