5/5 product!
Multiple grips worked extremely well for P90x. I'm 303 lbs and this supported me perfectly on a double joist. It took less than 30 seconds to mount due to the efficient design using a impact wrench. The assembly was super straight forward as well. Excellent product!

Good quality and value
Very solid. Pretty simple to set up, comes with everything you need to mount this. I used my own tools since a ratchet wrench makes a huge difference.

Really good price, solid piece of home gym equipment
Do you want to get stronger arms, shoulders and back muscles? A pull up/hanging bar can help you do that... build quality on this ranges from good to great. The metal is strong. The pieces feel like quality. The weakness is in the screws and hardware they give you. They just need to put a bit better quality into that to make it really excellent overall and a five instead of a four star. Mountability is good, just make sure you have space and it helps to have a quality drill to do the job. Once it is up, safety is good as it feels strong and solid. The design is a 4 out of 5 overall. It does the job, but where the two pieces meet in the middle feels a bit wonky until you have it fully together and installed. We use it more for hanging by our arms to stretch out before workouts. It obviously also is great for doing pullups.

Strong and sturdy
Works well and is sturdy. However, you do need a thick well supported piece of wood to mount it securely.

Works well enough
Not bad for the price, seems sturdy enough attached to a 2x4 joist. The only thing I don't like is that attachments to the straight bar that go to the joist are exactly where my hands should be for pull ups, shoulder width apart. Maybe that is only a problem for a few of us who are wide?

Poorly designed and made
I had to return this because when installing the handles, the bolt stripped in the captive nut and when trying to remove it, the bolt broke. Additionally, the bolts to hold it together were too long, the included wrench didn't fit one of the bolts sizes, and the design has the end handles connecting to the center piece, exactly where many people (me included) would put their hands for a pull up - making it very uncomfortable. They list the distance between the uprights for mounting to be 17 inches, which is too narrow for all but those with very small frame, narrow shoulders. 20-21 inches will be much more appropriate and the well mades ones (about $20 more) have this width and where the two sides join with screws is the exact middle, so your hands don't have to grab where there is not cushioning foam. I'd list as zero stars if possible.
