Very good value hard drive.
I used this hard drive for a CCTV DVR so I wasn't too bothered about being super quiet and paying a premium for it. The hard drive I got was a Hitachi make which was a pleasant surprise and for under 18 quid, a bargain. I had no issues installing the drive just plug and play. If the slight noise bothers you I used this method and it's free. There was a slight humming noise coming from the DVR case so for a temporary or permanent fix I just used the packing foam from the hard drive's inner packaging. Now she's running super quiet.

It’s doing the job.
I purchased it for use with a CCTV camera system recently, and I must say, the setup process was incredibly straightforward. It was completely plug-and-play, making installation a breeze. So far, the system appears to be functioning effectively, providing peace of mind and ensuring that everything is working as it should.

Its good fast and quiet.
Not noisy as previously seen on reviews. I did click on "drive repair" and then "formatted" it and been 2 weeks for a CCTV DVR recorder with no problems.
