Did not need any breaking in - comfortable from day one. I haven’t fully tested the waterproofness but I would be surprised if they leaked. They look and feel well made. I like to wear thick socks for hiking so I ordered a half size up from my normal shoe size.

Bought these for a trip to the lake district and they didn't disappoint they were very comfortable from day one. We did a few hikes on rocky terrains and my feet stayed dry was expecting a blister or two but nothing so I was very pleased. Much better than my Sketcher boots. Well worth the money!

True to size and comfy!

I have wide feet so these are perfect. Really comfortable and excellent grip. Really pleased with them. As a 6 they are on the small size.

Had these a few weeks now and they are definitely NOT waterproof if any wet gets on the top of them, evening walking in wet long grass you end up with damp socks . If it's actually raining you end up with very wet socks . I am so annoyed because they are advertised as waterproof... waste of money

Love these shoes for general walking, found to be waterproof in the woods and tracks. Bought half size up and there is room to wear slightly thicker socks.
