Worth the effort
Bought this cover to hide the rip where I rest my arm and was discouraged by how to install...BUT, DON'T GIVE UP, if you see my pictures I have these plastic prybars, which Amazon sells it for less than $10, and install the cover and after you zip it up,use the prybars and work your way around the console. MAKE SURE IT'S ON STRAIGHT BEFORE TUCKING IN.Afterwards once it's tucked in, massage around with the prybar to get rid of excess and it'll look great!ALso I didn't remove the old fabric, I just put cover over old one and I think its better bc it'll look more stuffed.

Great replacement cover
This is a tight fit, but with patience, it works it way to fitting just right. Definitely a two man job and a knife to help get around the cup holder.

2012 Silverado - Feels Good So Far
Followed the instructions from the product page. Removed the arm rest, one bolt on drivers side, three on the passenger side. Took off old cover with a razor blade. New cover slide on fine. Longest part was getting the top to tuck in under the plastic cup holder and storage area. Tight fit, but took my time with a pair of screwdrivers and had no issues.
