BGS 1980 | Tool Holder with Sliding Handle for Taps | M3 - M10 | 80 mm

Did exactly what I needed it to do. Overall didn’t feel as secure as I would have liked, tap felt looser than I would have liked. But ended up with a series of nicely threaded holes in an awkward location to reach otherwise.

Well this tool is very good, but it will not hold and M10 bit.

Rated for taps M3 to M10. However the M10 taps purchased with this item only fit with the "vice adjustment" at the extreme limit of adjustment to the point at which the collar comes off and the internal "jaw parts" come apart. So to fit the tap securely requires replacing the "jaws" just getting the collar to "bite", insert the tap, pushing as far in as possible and then after making sure it is square, tightening the collar as much as possible. Putting back together isn't difficult, but is not what I would expect to need to do. Rating at M10 appears to me to be a bit of a stretch.

Thought this tap wrench would be ok but used it for the first time with an m12 tap,the spring wire that keep the jaws in broke half way through running the tap into an already tapped hole to clean threads up so no real forget was needed,would not reccomend

Nice tool and appears to be good quality but it didn't fit my M8 tap which is a standard size, the chuck isn't big enough. I will keep the tool as it will come in but I struggle to see how this would fit anything above M6.

Solid quality but does not do as advertised.
