The visibility of this specific light is more than optimal for tactical helmet flashlight applications.

Save your money
Save your money. The mount uses a plastic pic rail that goes into the arch system on the helmet. No matter how you tighten it, it moves, which let's the whole mount rattle. It gets worse... the flashlight diameter is considerably smaller than the plastic mount, so no matter how much you tighten it, it never clamps onto the light. I wasnt expecting greatness, but this is pretty bad.

Needs proper fitting light!
Arrived in good condition. Alot of people complain about the light being too small. That's true. It is too small. Would rather have proper fitting light thats rechargeable. Also the complaint was the mount rattles around. This is user error. Needs adjusted and tightened! The picatinny mount is included in the helmet kit, although it would have been nice to come included. Needs a AA battery not included. Wouldn't need one if its rechargeable tho! Overall im getting a different flashlight to go in. Update!!! A WUBEN C3 rechargeable fits in this thing perfectly! So throw the one away that it comes with and buy that! Tightens all the way down snug and is rechargeable now! And its BRIIIIIIIGGGHHHT!!!!!

It's better than you think.
A lot of people are mad because this light doesn't come with the proper adapter to mount to a helmet. You do need to purchase a arc rail picatinny rail mount if you are gonna run it on the helmet. I didn't have any trouble with the light or placing it into the holder but it doesn't swivel like they said. Overall it's okay I guess.

NOT a helmet mount.
First and foremost, this light mount will not mate up to a helmet rail. At all. Nope. AA battery is not included. A 4mm Allen wrench is required, also not included.

Mount is good. Replacing light.
The mount is good but the light quality could be better. Mine goes off and on at times. Will be replacing with a small mag light. Oh and it takes 1 AA battery not included.
