Great customer service
Updated from 2 to 4 stars. See belowOrginal review: had high hopes for this container after watching Darwin's review praising the product. The conceptual design is wonderful, but the performance of the product has been disappointing. First, there is the taste. It causes water to taste and smell like plastic. Even after numerous washings, soaking, etc. it is still prevalent. Second, the cap is flimsy and has a weak seal if there is any side pressure applied it will leak. And finally, the top sliding lock is easily unlocked in a shifting backpack. It is my hope that the design team is reading this review.Update: I have been in contact with customer service and they will be sending a replacement. Once received, I'll review and update this post.2/28: Follow up note: Just received a replacement with a "new design" that addresses my posted issues. It took six weeks but in all fairness, Cnoc contacted me right away and offered a refund. I was willing to wait because I believe in the design. It is way better than anything else I have found on the market. Thank you Gilad, I know you are working hard and growing your company.

Not Recommended
I had read and seen positive reviews of the Cnoc bladder and been impressed by the owner's ideas when I met him at the 2017 PCT trail days. I also have Cnoc hiking poles that I like very much. The Cnoc bladder is almost twice as heavy as some of the alternatives, but the features looked interesting.Unfortunately, after using the Cnoc bladder on the first section of the PCT this year, I had to swap it out. No matter how carefully I sealed the fold-over slider, it leaked. This is very troubling when you are crossing the desert and there's no water for 20 miles. Also, because the threaded section is made from the same soft and flexible material as the bag, it deforms and/or cross-threads when you try to screw it into the water filter or even when putting the cap back on tight. Which also makes it leak. And it makes it hard to hold without spilling when you are attaching the filter or a coupler.I did like the way the bag rolled up as you squeezed the water through the filter. The idea of having a larger opening to collect water from a shallow source did work, although its just as easy (and lighter) to use a cut-off water bottle as a scoop with a standard bladder. So while I appreciate the attempt at innovation, the bottom line is I can not recommend this bladder.

Not really happy
I got pretty excited when I saw Darwin’s review of this bladder. I bought two and tried them out. After dealing with a leaky cap and both bladder clips coming undone and soaking my bag, they now sit in my garage and I don’t plan on using them any time soon.

BEST WATER BLADDER I'VE EVER USED PERIOD!!! LOVE IT!
Hands down my favorite new piece of gear! Purchased two more for a friend hiking the PCT this year. They solve all of the problems I've had with every other water bladder, including Evernew and Platypus. You can hang it for a gravity system, fill it easily with the wide opening and it has the standard water bottle threads, and most importantly doesn't leak at all when squeezing or carrying full in a pack. I use a Sawyer Squeeze filter and the threads fit perfectly without leaking! Big plus opposed to Platypus. The wide opening is extremely nice for filling from any water source, it is durable and I can guarantee it won't leak if you close it properly. Before this I used the Evernew 2L and found them extremely difficult to fill from a deep water source, in a cold stream my hands would be numb by the time I was able to fill two of them. This was because the water pressure collapses the bag if you just try to dip it. THe CNOC Vecto on the other hand has an easy pinch tab you can hold to fill the bag without even getting your hands wet. The rubbery material also seems very durable, and supposedly can withstand a ton of pressure, more than you'll even apply to it in normal circumstances. I don't use a traditional hydration system with drink tube etc, so this is the perfect bladder for me! Get adapters if you want to connect a drink tube. Don't waste your money on any other bladder system for filtering and carrying water!

You're not Darwin
I have seen many reviews talking about how Darwin on the trail has been using this for 3,000 miles on the trail and he recommended this but they have issues and there's have been leaking. I still bought it and you know what for what I intend to use it for it is exactly what I need I couldn't tell you how well it's going to hold up if I decide to put a bunch of water in there and just carry it around for two or three days but as a dirty water container for my Sawyer filter this is exactly what I needed now I have not used mine's a lot but I have filled with water and left it sitting out and haven't had it leaking. I have it knocking around in a bag right now with some other stuff and it hasn't had any holes in it the seams look good and solid.

I wanted to love this... but a watercontainer MUST reliably hold water!
Sorry to say, that I really wanted this to work but the threaded cap leaks. If you try hard, triple, and quadruple check the cap, then you can get it on right and you are safe to go. Unfortunately, it is not realistic to assume you will always get the cap on correctly or any other connection correctly. So if you buy this be prepared to have it leak in your pack.Design Improvement that would make this perfect: The plastic used on for the threaded cap is far too soft. It needs to be several times stronger and contain more threads. If they improve this design to be as reliable as your everyday water bottle then this would be the only choice when it comes to a backpacking water container.

New version, weak twist cap. Great design. Too late to return.
I love the design and everything about this... except the twist cap. It is super flimsy. Its own cap goes on ok. Getting the sawyer sqeeze on is a balancing act. You have to make sure it's on but don't go to far even the slightest or it will come off. I ended up dumping water all over me, more than once. I really want this product to work. The screw cap needs strengthening and this product would be indispensable. But currently, at least for me, It isn't dependable enough to use. It was purchased June 2018 so it should be the updated version. It is to late to return and there is nothing on the market that I can find that is similar to switch to anyways. Disappointed.

Imparts a plastic taste to the water.
Was purchased to use in conjunction with a Sawyer filter. Could not get past the plastic taint it imparted to the water so returned for refund. Would not recommend.

Tolle Erfindung.

Great product but buy it elsewhere.
Love my Vecto i use it primarily as my "dirty" bag. I like the large opening for filling and my filter screws right on to the smaller opening. My only dislike is not of the product but Amazon itself. This product is less than half from Cnoc themselves. So 100% I rec you buy the Vecto however skip the middle man and go to the source.

Mold inside bag
Bought this with high hopes but after one camping season of minimum use there is a black mold inside bag. Not sure way this is and I'm currently try to wash it out with little success so far
