Okay so lol I messed up on my left shoe which was my first attempt, and I did so well on my right, the second attempt. Only complain is the instructions barley say much, guess they just thought everything was common knowledge, I’ve never done anything like this and I was excited to try them so right after arrival I placed them on my shoes.So what I did incorrectly was that I eyeballed the left shoe and did it too tight, as well as tied the 2 knots too big (I didn’t pull them enough to tightened them thinner) so it made it very difficult to close the screws. After a few weeks of wearing them, it snapped and I did the next best thing and tied it to the lace hole, I couldn’t re-knot since I already made the mistake of making them too tight. It was already hard enough to pull off and put on.What I did do correctly was my right shoe, I immediately after realized my mistake instead placed my foot in the shoe after finishing putting in the laces so the stretch would fit me, I then slid in the screws and tied the knots thinner, after burning them to seal it, connecting and screwing on the pieces was much more easy than my left shoe. After weeks of using it, I can say it’s the best!! It’s so easy and convenient, very comfortable and I can slide my foot in and out without a hassle.End result is do not do what I did but do as I did do. Don’t fail like I failed my left shoe lol RIP

My kids *can* tie their shoes, but the morning rush before school is always stressful. There are the double knots that are impossible to untie without an adult or the imperfect tied lace that has one long string and one tiny one. Then there are the ties that end up in a single loop by accident and boom. Total and complete meltdown resulting in a frustrated mom and a rough start to the day.This was my life before these awesome laces. Now, no knots, crazy loops, failed ties, or tears! It’s a win-win.Once your kid knows how to tie, why mess with frustrations that you can easily eliminate, making a much easier start to everyone’s day?These laces are easy to put into kids and adults shoes. They are long enough for high tops and low. Once laced in the shoe, the ends are knotted & trimmed with scissors at the desired length after stringing the 2 adjoining metal pieces onto each end. The metal pieces screw together and then you have a slip on shoe!It took me 5 minutes for each shoe. The elastic laces are stretchy and a clean bright white color. The package arrived in time in environmentally friendly packaging with clear instructions.I will buy again and again.

A little hard to get done. I got these because I had back surgery and can't put on shoes without a shoe horn and can't tie my shoes. The way you are supposed to do this is with shoes on so mine are a bit tight

Okay .. with all the adorable, fancy ways to lace up shoes, these elastic laces are the BOMB! Got them for my tween granddaughter’s converse high tops, yep, yep, they work! She no longer has to untie them!! They have become slip-ons! Yeah, we are doing this - with fancy lacing - on all the tennie runners! Get them! You won’t be disappointed!The black converses .. those are my old river/boat shoes. The laces keep them snug and they are now slip ons!! Yay!!

The laces are very stretchy. However, they are shiny. (As shown in the picture) And I don't care for the plastic-y look so I didn't keep the laces on. I do appreciate the thickness of the lace tho.The plastic clasp are the trick piece here. I like to straight lace so this is a better solution then tying a knot. They seem to hold quite well. I added a dab of super glue for added measure. I wish I could buy just those clasp. That would be great.

Great product for anyone who can’t tie shoes! Only drawback would be that I can’t see how they would be reused from different pairs of shoes. Once they’re “installed” on a pair, they are on there. You would have to cut them off, which would shorten the length, making them potentially too short for a new pair of shoes. Otherwise, great laces for kids who can’t tie yet, anyone with mobility or reach issues or people with injuries, things like that. Would purchase again for convenience of not having to stop and tie my kid’s shoes!

Initially these were fine but they are starting to degrade quickly on daily wear shoes. I will be going for a different brand next time

My son wouldn’t wear these nice shoes because he gets tired of tying his shoes. Old laces were black and the new elastic laces are the white. They look like regular laces, I simply knotted them after the last holes (as seen in the picture), then I cut the extra off and used a lighter to melt the raw ends so they don’t fray. My son says they’re the perfect solution. I got the 2 pack so I can put them on my daughters converse shoes as well.

These arrived quickly but not really sure worth the money- there were no instructions in box so just had to work it out by trial and error - after getting one pair laced and closed I have worn trainers all morning- they do work well enough and I can slip shoe off without having to open - which is what I was hoping for as bought them in preparation for thumb op so wont be able to tie my laces for a few weeks - I'm not sure how long they will last as basically just pieces of elastic and depends on how good a knot you tie to stop the metal closure coming off - it's also hard to get the tension right as you dont want to have your trainer too loose that it will come off but if you do them up too tight theres a good chance of elastic eventually snapping or metal tip coming off. A food idea but not worth the price in my opinion

So far, pretty good. Only real criticism is that they are very skinny, could do with being thicker. No problems installing them at all.

Nice neat look, easy to use for my mother with issues bending to tie shoes.
