Kitchen Torch for Cooking with Adjustable Flame

I purchased this torch to use in the process of glueing special horse shoes onto my older horses. It is very comfortable and balanced to grip, I really like the lock slider, gives me piece of mind I won't accidentally light it when carrying it or moving it. Took a couple clicks the first time I used it to get it to start but after I used it a few times, it clicks and lights right away. It can produce a very big flame when the adjuster is slid all the way to +, I typically use it slid just off the - mark. Easy to refill with the included butane refillers in the bundle. The chrome color is fun and fancy as well.

Bought this for my father as a cigar lighter instead of cooking torch. Works good for both. Flame is adjustable, ranging from maybe, 6 to 9 inches. The material is shiny, which is good. The durability is a little lower quality than I had hoped for (I gave it a solid squeeze), but in all honesty I don't expect to be bashing it on things so it should be alright. Good lighter. Big fire. Very few people complain about more fire.

We use this to unfreeze the lock of our cluster mailbox in the hills of the PNW, which means we carry it our car when needed so the safety aspect is important. Good value with the extra can!

Not happy with product. Go to fill, leaks. Go to use, torch for custards, didnt even last to the 2nd ramekin . Perhaps I received a defected one? Nonetheless, very disappointed and discarded it, purchased another from anther vendor, which worked nicely.
