It took me a few minutes to figure out these window shades when I got them. I didn’t like them at first, but now I’m a fan. They fit well on my 2017 Honda CR-V once I figured out how to place them.The front shade is huge and covers the entire front glass area. It attaches with hook and loop around the rear view and is held in place by the car’s sun visors on each side. Points given for a good fit and fairly easy folding for storage. This is the only shade that comes with a storage bag. It keeps the rings of metal from springing open when the shade isn’t being used. The stitching on the bag is coming loose in on edge, but that is an easy fix. No issues with the frame quality or stitching on the shade itself.The front door shades have a hinged triangle that fits the front 1/3 or so of each window. You can fold the front flap back to get a look at the side view mirrors before opening the door into possible bicyclists or cars passing by. There is some loose nylon around the frames to allow for adjusting the shades to block out nearly all of the light. The metal frames grip the window and then you can shift the frames and press the loose nylon to fill in the corners and edges of the windows.The rear door windows do not have shades in this set. I purchased a separate set of Qualizzi SM/R Car Window Shades for Side Windows and those fit the rear side door windows and work well. They are elastic mesh that stretch over the entire top frame of the door and pull down to the base of the windows. You are able to lower the windows when those shades are on and let some ventilation in the car.The small rear window shades are tricky to keep in. The rear shade won’t stay on by itself. The plastic surrounds on these slopes away from the window and don’t provide an angle that the metal frame can grip to keep the shade in place. I’m planning on putting some door bumpers on the window surrounds to hold the shades in place.All in all I’m really happy with this purchase. I bought the set blind as there not any reviews on the sales page. Apart from a few minor issues, I think this is a great set and it does just what I wanted it to do.

A few friends have made window shades themselves and after hearing about their frustrations and the time they spent doing it themselves, I decided to give these a try. Just got back from a 4 day car camping trip and these worked SO well!! Most of them stayed in the windows by themselves. The triangular ones toward the back of the car needed a little assistance from a small strip of velcro. The clips that are included for the hatchback window work great! I used these both at night and while hiking during the heat of the day. Highly recommended!

These shades completely blacked out my car, it was super easy to just push the shades into the corners with my finger. Get some sleep, privacy, security, temperature control and interior protection.

The small back / side shade did not fit. They were to small.The shades did a good job of black out, but are hard to store. I not sure they will work for every day, but will be great for car camping. Not worth the price.

I use this set for a SUV camper conversion, and turns the back into a private tent, essentially. They snap in easily, and you should crack open the 4 side windows to allow for some ventilation. I place the tops of the panels through the open windows, and fold the fabric in a bit to allow for air to get through. I put white labels with marker, numbered them 1 through 8, and the 'top' orientation. That way I don't even have to think when I slap them on. Just a little light sneaks through the cracks, so is perfect for letting you know when it's time to rise and shine.

I was REALLY on the fence about getting these shades. They’re pricey and money doesn’t go as far as it used to. But I wanted to bring comfort and a sense of security to myself and my cats on our road trip. I am so glad I bought them. Money well spent for my needs.First, they don’t smell. (This is very important because I have MCAS and scents and chemicals make me really sick.) So while I’m sleeping in my car instead of a scented, chemically hotel, I need to know I’m safe and won’t react to something I bring in.Second, I have a 21 VW Tiguan and the ones for the Tiguan model fit. They block the light really well. Perfect for sleep or to darken my car if I have a migraine on the road. There is a sliver of light that sneaks past the edges but that’s to be expected.Third, they feel very sturdy and well made. The only window that needed the support clips was my rear window. I am impressed with the quality.
