My headache specialist recommended this device for my chronic migraines which do not respond to the many medications I have tried. It's a good little device that comes with a charger and thorough instructions. Does it help? That will be a question for each user to answer for themselves. I haven't found the time to use it daily for preventive purposes and have primarily used it when having a migraine. I'm not sure how much it helps, i.e. it doesn't free me from the migraine experience and I'm not sure it adds a great deal in pain relief, though my pain is seldom severe. But there is something about it that I like. I jokingly tell people that it feels like it is sucking my brain out through my pores! It is an unusual sensation and only a little painful - and that is something that can be adjusted. It makes me doze off which is sometimes helpful. Sort of like rebooting my brain. :-) I don't regret buying it. But neither do I tout it as a miracle cure. So I give it 4 stars.

Tried this for a week and it make my headache and migraines worse. Shortly after using it on day 5 I rushed to the doctor with excruciating pain. Tried to return but supposedly can’t. And returns are not allowed. $500 wasted. So dissatisfied. Update review edit: from 1 star to 3 stars 27 female chronic migraines I revisited this device to try and salvage the purpose and price Changing to 3 stars because of the electrode sensation. It’s similar to the numbing tingly feeling as if your foot were to fall asleep but specifically in your sinus area. I personally like that feeling but the amount of times you have to click to increase the stimulation to get there is a lot. When you click on the device, it’ll have two different colors purple and blue. Each color has a different time length and electrode pulses to it. I found it a little frustrating to navigate the setting of preventative mode and onset mode — This is a newer model, so the electro sticky pad has a more prominent magnetic on it that the electrode attaches to. Amazon does not sell the electrode sticky pad. You have to go to the actual website to re-purchase the electrode. 1 star originally for results and refund 2024 3 star currently for temporary sensation of the tingly numbness feeling resulting from the highest electrode pulse 2026

My doctor recommended this for my headaches and although the reviews weren't great, I decided to try it on the off-chance it would work. It didn't. My headaches remain a constant daily issue. If you sit up, make any facial expressions or turn to the side, it falls off your head. The app only works if it's displayed on your phone. If you touch your phone to look at anything else, it disconnects and you have to start the treatment over. Worst of all, THIS IS NOT A REFUNDABLE PRODUCT! Amazon did go ahead and give me a refund after I stated all that was wrong, but in general, it's considered a medical device and not refundable. BEWARE!

I have found that the device seems to work for me. I have to use it daily and at the start of a migraine for best results. I definitely had to get used to and ramp up the voltage to overcome the tickling, tingling, pulsing, throbbing, and needling sensations- but now that I have been using it daily for 20min I am used to it. I got the bluetooth connected version from the cefaly website- the app and connectivity are very disappointing. You have to reconnect BT every time you use it, and the app is unreliable.

My neurologist recommended this device, so I didn't check reviews. Big mistake. Directions say device may be "uncomfortable" which is often medical speak for "hurts". I don't think it is clear in the directions that the device keeps increasing in intensity for the first 14 minutes. I made it to about five minutes before ripping it off; hurt way more than a migraine, and still hurt 30 minutes later. Will try it again now that I realize I can set the intensity, but honestly I think it will be too strong at level one. I am not keen on a pain relief device that causes more pain the headache. Could not recommend this to anyone.

Did not even work don’t waste your money. Listen to everyone reviews I dint and got stuck with this that don’t even work waste of money .

As soon as he took it of a daylong massive cluster migraine starred. He won't use it again.

Purchased the device directly from Cefaly. The device is clunky but works fine. This type of treatment has helped to reduce the frequency and severity of migraines, so I was in the market for an upgrade from a knock off brand I’ve been using for about a year. I wanted something that would log treatment duration/intensity to share with my doctor, so this looked like a great option! NONE of the “connected” features actually work. The “improved” CeCe Migraine Management app, which is literally the only reason to purchase this version of the device, is atrocious. It doesn’t retain treatment records. It doesn’t detect or retain pairing to the device. If, by some miracle, the app can detect the device is paired, it has significant control latency and kicks off the acute treatment regardless of what you actually choose. Just unbelievable that the app was released in this state - it is pre-alpha.
