Great art table at a great price
I think this table is perfect for my beginning start in watercolor and colored pencil drawing! Assembly was not difficult but directions could benefit from some "top/bottom", "left/right" directions on some steps. I referred back to the Amazon "finished" photo on occasion for help in those cases. My primary challenge was solo assembly as well as my age (68) and getting tired bending/contorting etc. I had no time frame so I did a step or two and then took a break for my back! So overall, it was an all day project but actual time I think 1.5-2 hours. I recently assembled a 150 plus pound Uplift desk which taught me a few ways to deal with the final steps of top into base. The table fits my space perfectly and the drawers allow me to store my most used supplies so I can start painting/drawing without much fuss - YEA. Oh ... I did NOT assemble the stool as I don't need it. Donated to thrift store :)

Great little desk for craft organization and projects
Relatively easy to assemble, but it does take a while with all the parts. It needed two pairs of hands at different points, so just be aware of that. Otherwise, functionally, this desk is pretty ideal. There's a lip on the edge of the desk which can be positioned up or down, to prevent pens or brushes from rolling to their doom off of the edge of the table. Or, it can be lowered if the desk is laid flat and you have your wrists on the edge of the desk. There is a slideable side-board that can be pushed in if it isn't needed, extending the desk by another 15 or so inches. Storage on the right side is a pivoting wire mesh cup and a number of plastic cutouts for pretty much any hobby. Two drawers underneath add more storage space for flat items (paper, templates, miniature bases or glue tubes). All in all, while this won't win any awards for the best-built desk from quality materials - the design itself is solid, compact and really utilitarian and I couldn't quite find a craft desk which basically supports the five hobbies I am into currently and manages the resources for each in one desk.

Good quality merchandise.
This art table was just what I was looking for. High quality, easy assembly, I am 69 years old and I put it together myself with no help. All the parts were there, the instructions were very clear. The only issue I had was the packaging was damaged upon delivery but the product was in tact

Terrible Directions
I received this desk and was very excited until I saw the directions. Assembly of the frame for the desk top was a bit confusing. Words in the directions rather than all hard to figure out pictures would have been nice. Either way it took me by myself (55 yr old female and handy) about 2 hours to do put this together alone. I ended up doing it my own way which was good because they way they directed would have been too heavy for me to pick up and put on the legs myself. Overall the desk is sturdy and is doing the trick. I found that lowering the angle is not as easy as I had hoped, you have to reach into the back side of the desk and lift the locking mechanism, I'm nervous to pinch myself... LOL The stool is very firm, but I have a bad back and like it. The tray system it has is virtually useless, nothing fits into it... the brush holders are less than an inch deep and I'm not sure what any of the other spaces would be useful for other than holding my chalk. I have gotten hours of use from this desk already, and especially love the extendable table to the left of the working station. Its a good size, holds my canvas and has room for me to tape my images to the side. If you rest your arms while painting or drawing you might want to use some glue on the screws that hold the canvas/paper (small lip) I have found that I push on it and the screws have popped out... little glue and problem solved. The bottom shelve holds my art books, paper towels, and brush box quite nice. The drawers are nice sized and hold my tracing paper, carbon paper and 8x10 canvases with ample room. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a working table for their art... I am sure I will be using it for years.

Great table for diamond painting
I purchased this to use when i work on my diamond paintings. My son put it together for me, if it had been left up to me, i would have probably given up because i am not mechanically inclined. It is a very sturdy desk and perfect for my crafts. The drawers are made of a cloth type material - not metal like i thought. The storage underneath is not easy to access. i did not want the stool as i don't use chairs without backs, and gave it to my son. However, i like that i can raise it up to the level i'm comfortable with and i like the slide out tray, but i wish it were made to use on the right side instead of the left. Overall, this is a great table for the price. Oh - and it did arrive a day earlier than expected, so that was a Plus! lol

Easy to assemble
I put this table together myself. Had one hickey up and that was getting to write direction installing top to bottom. The adjustment is so smooth and goes a lot straighter than my old one. Looking for a reasonable priced professional table this is it. We'll worth the price.

Stylish Sturdy Desk
I bought this desk for my son who is in the 6th grade. He attends a fine arts school. This desk is perfect for all the different things he needs to do. It was easy to assemble (my son and his dad put it together) with 2 people. It's very sturdy and has lots of great storage.

Great price on a nice sized drafting table
This table/desk was very easy to assemble. I like that the height of the table is easily adjustable (by one person) by loosening the two knobs on the sides, then raising or lowering the entire top (including drawers). The good part is that when the knobs are loose, you do not have to support the weight of the table top; the top will stay put as you raise/lower it... so you can get it exactly where you want, then lock it in by tightening the screws. I find reviews are most valuable by pointing out the negatives, so here goes.... 1. The feet are cheap. While the feet are nice and big, and are easily adjustable, the plastic is rigid with sharp(ish) edges to all the molded surfaces at the bottom. I think they would scratch a lot of different types of flooring (vinyl, laminate, hardwood, etc). That said, I think putting some thick felt or something under the feet would eliminate that issue. 2. After putting the table together, I had two small screws leftover. They were not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. I knew it was no accident on my part, and, quickly discovered where they belong. They belong on the front and rear edges of the sliding side table. That side table slides between two metal holders. Each holder has an obvious slot. The screws go through each slot and into the table side to prevent it from being pulled all the way out (when extended) or crashing into the table top angle mechanism (when pushed all the way in). However, the table top does not have the holes to install the screws. I quickly drilled the two holes (as this type of MDF board may just crumble if not pre-drilled), then installed the screws. Mystery solved! And, the side table is now safe for me or my kids to use without worrying about it. 3. There is one VERY VERY small defect on my table top. Some kind of debris is between the MDF board and the laminate veneer, causing a tiny, little "pimple". It is on the lower-left of the table top. While it's barely visible, it's enough to redirect a pen/pencil stroke, if under a sheet of paper. Hopefully it's far enough to the left that it will never cause an issue. However, as that is the ONLY defect of that kind on any of the table top, bottom, or side surfaces of the main table or pull-out table, I would think this type of defect is rare and I just happened to get it. Overall, I would give this product a 4.5 star rating... so, I just rounded up.
