Just wow…
To my wallet’s chagrin, my husband and I have gotten into fancier soy sauces lately, and this one is definitely worth the extra money. The umami flavor is fantastic and you can really appreciate the garlic notes. I cannot recommend this enough on a sushi night. 10/10.

Wonderful sauce
It's pricey, but worth it! I use it on grilled meats and when I stir fry veggies add it at the end. Absolutely delicious!

Absolutely delicious!
We use this all the time, and not just for Asian dishes. A splash of this adds a wonderful depth and umami to many dishes. I make lots of soups, all kinds, and consider the garlic shoyu an indispensable ingredient.

Haku Doesn't Make A Bad Product
I've tried everything Haku makes I can order online. Frankly, the whiskey barrel aged version is...better than any other shoyu on the planet in my opinion (note...I absolutely hate whiskey and any other hard liquor). Had to mention that just so people know. So this I had never tried before. It's very good. Nothing crazy going on - no chunks, straight sauce. Doesn't taste intense salt water like cheap soy sauce. Every product this company makes is very good but I'm not sure about this one. The garlic taste...is very discreet. I guess that's good for certain purposes or people. But I'm one of those "there isn't enough garlic you could put in to this" type of people. I just wish it was more garlicky - if that is a word. Not bad at all though. Hint of garlic unlike any of their other types of shoyu.

Premium Product!
Love this soy sauce. Use it more like a finishing oil than a cooking oil. Extremely savory without being gritty, bitter, or burnt tasting. Incredible as a finishing drizzle over homemade ramen.

Nothing else like it
Yes, it’s a little expensive, but once you try it, you’ll be hooked! This is the most delicious rich tasting soy sauce I have ever had!
