This bracket works great for Blink doorbell systems. I just ordered a Blink doorbell for security reasons. Living in an apartment, this seemed like the most practical option for installing it. I was worried because I have an inward swinging door. It fits the door well and clears the frame by inches. It's also durable and the clamp is easy to use. It came with a magnetic screw driver and extra screws. Happy I went with this mount. It's worked well.

I had a different video doorbell at my last house. It had to be drilled into the brick and wired. I didn’t want to reinstall it when I moved so I purchased this camera. It’s been sitting sealed in the box for a year because I thought I was going to have to install it the same way and missed the return window. I just came across this and ordered it immediately. It arrived on time and extremely easy to use. Saved so much time and happy I didn’t end up return the camera.

I live in an apartment that does not allow us to mount cameras to the door or siding. So this was my perfect workaround for that. It was easy to set up, but beware the screws are tinnny! Perfect mount to the door, and does not budge or rub on the frame. Peace of mind that someone cant walk up and take it off my door.

This is my second Blink doorbell mounting bracket, and I am very pleased with the ease of assembly, attachment, and security features. I had inadvertently purchased a cheaper model, and there was only a one-inch distance between my door opening and the mount, which meant my door frame took up one-third of the view. It did not even reach my deadbolt. It relied on the Blink mounting bracket, which in my case, did not seat correctly, and had a gap that exposed the flimsy side tabs no matter how many times I clicked it in place, it would not sit flush. I could see it would easily be pulled off the door by rocking it from the side and snap off.I decided I needed to upgrade to a security mounting bracket with an outer case that covers the entire unit and reached farther away from my door opening for a full view of my hall. One that wasn't oversized and ugly.So far I am pleased. The bracket itself is a single piece and I didn't have to assemble many pieces and parts like the other unit. It took less than a minute to attach my Blink Doorbell and security cover using four tiny screws. It does not rely on the OEM mounting bracket, which in my case was faulty.The only slight cons would be that I wish the tiny machine screws that attach the cover were a bit more robust, Although they do seem to hold the outer cover securely. Also, the plastic piece that protects your door from the tightening screw could be a bit larger. I had to fidget with it a bit to hold it in place while tightening.Overall I am happy with this Blink doorbell mount, The doorbell distance reaches past my deadbold and is far enough away from my doorframe to get a wider view of my hallway without my doorframe taking up much of the video frame and I would recommend it.

I am the most tech savvy person I know. It took waaay too long for me to set this up just be highly disappointed.1. I don’t like the fact that the description of this device says “two way” but you need extra equipment in order for it to function as two way.2. You also need the module to hear the doorbell chime within your home, you need the module for live view, you need the module for everything you expected this camera to do alone.2a. THE MODULE IS $50 alone and $69 if you order it with the doorbell together.3. You have to have the doorbell in “armed mode” just to actually receive all motion detection alerts. If you don’t have it in armed mode, you’re not going to receive any notifications for motion…. Even if you program it to do so without it being in armed mode… now that’s ok with me HOWEVER it tells you armed mode uses a lot of battery so, you’ll likely be changing the batteries more often than you want.Im trying this new thing in life where I am allowing ONE second chance so issued a return for the stand alone doorbell and ordered the one with module for live view and chime within my home. I will update once I set that up 🙄.
