Pawsome Trail Cam
The media could not be loaded. Wow, I'm seriously impressed with this trail camera.I got this camera to keep an eye on my furry buddies in the backyard, and it's been an absolute game-changer. The setup was a breeze – even for someone like me who's not a tech whiz. Just a couple of clicks and I was good to go.The picture quality is amazing, and I get clear and vibrant shots of my dogs' shenanigans. The night vision is seriously cool! I've attached a video of my black dog at night so you can see how easy it picks him up but it's so crystal clear during the day I wish it would let me upload two videos. I did add a still taken from a daytime video though. It's solar powered so I don't have to worry about batteries, or it dies before I can top it off, which makes a massive difference. The motion detection is spot-on. It picks up my pups' playful antics every time. All in all, if you're a dog parent who's curious about what happens when you're not around (spoiler: a lot of cuteness), this trail camera is your new best friend. Worth every penny for the peace of mind and the endless smiles it brings. It also would work excellent for hunting and other related camera activities!

Great camera!
The media could not be loaded. I actually got this camera so I could try to figure out what’s been going after my chickens so I’ve been setting it up right by my chicken coop hoping to find out what killed some of my smaller chickens and it’s been working out pretty good.It takes out a lot of pictures and I’m gonna have to look through them all on my laptop because it took like 1000 pictures over the weekend because my chickens were moving, but I definitely like it and it seems to be working pretty good. The quality of the camera is really good. It charges like with solar so the batteries I put in it aren’t all rechargeable so I was worried about that but it looks like it has an internal battery of some sort that’s charging with the solar and I wasn’t sure if it was the solar that would be charging the batteries that I put in but it seems to be doing good with that and the quality seems good with the camera itself.

It’s works ok
Camera does work and it’s great not having to buy so many batteries. Unfortunately it’s far from great. Tigger speed is almost 2.5 seconds, tested that by running in front of it at about 20 feet. Detection distance was a little over 30 feet. Tested all the way out to their claim of 60. Going to put it out in the woods soon so I might come back to this review if something changes. Also do not point it towards the sun. Even though that’s the way the panels are pointing. It gets over whelmed and the motion detectors won’t work unless the animal is like 2 feet from the camera. Also my tests were done with the motion detectors on high.*update* customer service did contact me and asked me to try some things. None helped but they did refund part of the cost. It is possible I got a bad camera but I am not sure. Might be worth trying as I just bought another brand and paid about $40 more. Wish this one worked for me as I would have bought more. Bumped it up to 4 stars for custom er service

Checks all my boxes more than other brands
I've owned six other brands of trail cams, mostly scattered around my 90 ac. woodland in middle Georgia to observe wildlife. A couple did dual duty as security to monitor my facilities. None of them were bad, but this one -- especially at its price point -- may be my favorite. Most of these cameras, including this one, have many more features and options than want. Only a few are really important: trigger time, night time illumination, battery life, and ease of setup and operation. This one performs admirably on all.

Two big Cons!
I purchased three of these trail cameras based upon the fact that I don't have to change typically 8, AA batteries per trail camera means that I should make my money back after about a year of use. I also bought this camera because of the numerous, 5-star reviews, however, after a few days of use, I have two (2) substantial Cons. Buyer beware:Con-1. My previously Amazon-bought trail cameras all are able to easily aim at very specific spots/areas. This is because the mounting or attachment points sit on the rear of the main body of those cameras while the front cover under the camera Lense opens to expose the viewing screen/monitor. Thus, one is able to see exactly what will be videoed while it is for example, mounted to a tree. Typically, I would verify video position via the built-in monitor, then make small position adjustments before tightening down the tie straps. Be aware that you absolutely cannot do this with this camera because the mounting points are located on the cover (vice camera body)! Thus, the camera body and camera Lense pivots open while the cover remains stationary. So, I can only zero-in this camera by "eye-balling" it, taking a few videos, then removing the SD card, and playing the captured videos in my computer so I know where the camera is actually pointing. Once viewing the video, I go back to my cameras in the field and make the necessary position adjustments. While this may not sound like a big deal, having to verify the camera position of several trail cameras in various locations, makes using this method, really a pain!Con-2. My previous trail cameras all store videos in a "Movie" folder while photos are stored in a seperate "Photo" file. This makes it quick and convenient to edit both. This trail camera stores both videos and photos in the same folder, alternating a photo, then video, then photo, then a video, etc.! According to the instructions, there does not seem to be a way to change this default condition? I believe this makes it very difficult to quickly edit either? For me, this is a big deal as I'm used to being able to edit just videos or just photos.Because of these two substantial Cons, I can only give this trail camera, 3-Stars.
