This set was a good deal for the money. The large sheers is really good however the small scissors is worthless. Measuring tape, chalk, and seem rippers are just ok. If you only need the large sheers I would just buy a good one else ware.

I don’t like the chalk piece. It’s coated with wax so I assume it’ll come off maybe the more I use it. But the blades on the scissors are so sharp and cut so well. Beautiful. Solid. Fantastic.

In love with this kit! The big scissors are a bit big for my sewing kit but it is good quality, very sharp! I love the mini foldable scissors, so cute!

I received my package with a broken tailor's chalk. I'm not sure if this was the reason that the scissors do not open and close smoothly or if that is the quality of the scissors. The scissors are lightweight and don't fully cut through the fabric. I tried cutting denim and they pinch the fabric once you get to the end. Closing the thread snips is difficult because they do not slide back in place and applying too much pressure seems dangerous. I would not reccomend this even for a beginner.

It okay, my scissors seemed to have scratches on them.
