Great value! I did have to service it though.
This knife is such a great value. We'll built, feels solid, has D2 blade steel, feels great in hand, and the action is great. I also like the sturdy deep carry pocket clip. I did have to take it apart to clean it up. No big deal if you have the tools. It shipped with way too much oil that was all over the place in the liners. It cleaned up real nice. Now it drops shut and the detent, which was too strong in my opinion, is now perfect. I can middle finger flick it open as well. It's heavier and bigger than I thought it was going to be but it rides well in the pocket. To middle finger flick it you need to use the tip of your finger, not the nail. D2 is a great knife steel however, it can rust fairly easily. To keep this blade from rusting you just need to wipe it down with mineral oil every now and then. Especially if you find yourself in a more damp or humid environment. Keeping this blade in a nice thin coat of mineral oil will keep it looking as good as possible.

Don't 2nd guess, BUY IT!!! Buttery smooth!!
Arrived in 1 day, packaged neatly and compact boxing. Initial thought upon buying was that it could be a tiny cheap knife with a very inferior blade for under 30 ducks. Nope. I opened the knife box and was greatly surprised by a knife that was exceptionally well made with quality materials. Nothing wimpy here. Knife has a nice hefty feel, weight, to it. Not overly heavy, just right. It's width is enough to be quite adequate for larger hands. The flicker has some grooves notched into it, nice touch. Visually (in person) this knife looks much more expensive than its price tag. I'm not a big fan of the handles most of companies use, but this one has a nice graining to it that slightly mimics wood grain in feel. It's not slippery. Finger grooving in right spot. Off green color is nice! Pocket clip is not cheap, thicker and wider than others. Left or right handed. 2 extra set screws included for mishaps. The action of the bearing is something to experience and behold, smoother than hot metal in butter. No play in blade in any position from locked to folded, sits centered when closed. Blade lock is secured positively when blade is flicked fully open, then disengaged with an easy press of the thumb. The blade has a nice height to it and is wider than 90% of others. The taper is perfect. Position of handle in relation to angle the blade is mounted is spot on. D2 blade (marked on thump flipper, marked with "868" on opposite side) has a nice edge, should hold good for awhile without over abuse. Only caveat is the thumb hole on the blade, too much side pressure is applied to flip the blade open (as easy as it opens already). I don't use it, so no biggie. Although others might find that a drawback, do not let that ruin an excellent knife purchase. This a bad butt knife, bad to the bone. I almost skipped this knife because of its low price, so glad I bought it. Absolutely recommend this to anyone needing an exceptional pocket knife, anyone adding quality to their collection, or just someone needing another fine tool.

Fantastic for the value
Wow! Such an amazing knife for such a low price. I think this knife is the most beautiful knife Petrified Fish has created. It is big, and it is heavy. One of my favorite attributes of this knife is the color matched backspacer between the liners. It flips out very nicely both with the flipper and with the opening hole. You can thumb flick it and reverse flick it, both feel great. But closing it? Oh man, it just drops shut so effortlessly. This is a quality knife. I'm not the biggest fan of D2 but for $30 I am not complaining. Super happy with this beautiful tool and cant wait to use it more.

Great Value & Good For EDC
I must say, for a Knife that was $32.99, this Knife is well designed & built. It was sharp, but not Razor sharp. I did the proverbial Paper slice test & it did decently well. I did the Redneck sharp test by shaving some Hair off my Arm, & it did Ok, but not Razor sharp as some have indicated. A few passes on the Strop made it Razor sharp. It shaves with very little effort now. The flipper was good, but I took it apart & cleaned it up & lubed it up (I'm a little OCD) about my Knives LOL. It's Butter smooth now. The Pocket Clip is one of the best "Deep Pocket" Clips that I've ever seen in a budget Knife. It literally disappears in your Pocket. I'm extremely satisfied with this Knife thus far. Time will tell to the longevity of it, but I'm optimistic & at this price point, you can't go wrong. If you're on the Fence about picking this Knife up, get it. You won't be disappointed.

Solid knife without breaking the bank
Great knife to throw in the rotation, holds an edge well, comfortable to hold. It is slightly larger than what I thought, but that hasn't been an issue.

Very stout blade, a bit heavy but otherwise great!
I'm so impressed by the quality of PF knives. So much so that I've already gotten 4 of them. Only gripe about this model is that the blade is quite thick at 3.6mm, which makes it beefy enough to baton through small wood. But it does weigh things down. Otherwise it's a great and very functional knife. The back flipper is silky smooth, and easier to operate than the front flippers.

Another consistently great PF868 Bunta from Petrified Fish
This is the second Bunta that I purchased. Why not? The price and value are great. The blade is centered just like the Grey one. The action is perfect. No play in the blade lock-up. Deep pocket clip that is ease to engage and doesn't move around. The screws don't protrude and the clip can be swapped to the left side. The factory edge is sharp and clean. An all around blade design that performs everything well. Comes with spare screws, cleaning cloth, and Petrified Fish sticker. I now have a spare for when one of my children inevitably misappropriates one.
