This replacement for our 6 quart mixer is very nice so far. It is Stainless Steel. Not "coated" like the original. Seems like it should last longer and be much more durable. Time will tell. Works well. Fits.

We have had our Kitchen Aide for more than 25 years and it is still going strong. I have received nothing but hugs and kisses for ordering this dough hook for me wife. She says it works great, is easy to clean, does not have any strange coating on it and looks great. Definitely worth the cost and should last a long time.

As soon as a recieved it in the mail. I opened it and made sure it would fit my kitchenaid and it fit PERFECT!!!🤩. First thing I made was a Braided Garlic bread. The dough hook worked fantastic. Should have bought it a long time ago to replace my old enameled hook from kitchenaid. No More chipping off!!!!🤩🤩🤩

Good replacement for my kitchenaid pro HD series dough hook. Is Sligh shorter but given it is mixing dough, I think it will be ok. Very heavy, so I am concerned that it might be too heavy for the gears/motor while mixing doughs.

Perfect, I needed one that wouldn't wear

Unlike other reviewers, I didn’t find a problem with the connection to the mixer. The attachment did fit, although it was very loose. The problem I had was with the length of the hook. The mixer would not operate with the hook attached - the point jammed against the bottom of the bowl and bound the motor. Too bad, because I wanted a stainless steel alternative to the hook that came with my mixer.

I received the dough hook today. Delivery from USA was extremely quick, which was sooner than originally projected date of arrival. Free postage was an extra bonus. It looks and feels like a quality product. Nicely polished stainless steel. Weight is substantial. I gave it a dry run on my KPM5 bowl lift mixer. Perfect fit. I’m very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it UPDATE : 3/5/25 Having used this dough hook to mix bread and pizza dough I can now attest to its positive functionality. The dough doesn’t creep up the dough hook as it did with the standard Kitchenaid C hook the machine came with. The machine doesn’t operate under stress as it used to do when mixing pasta dough. Plus the added bonus of no white plastic coating peeling off and contaminating your food.
