Be realistic
It gets me when people buy things on the cheap and then moan about quality! I have bought quite a few of this size rack before and then came across this one which was a lot cheaper. Yes it took me a bit longer to put together and had to use the pliers a few times to straighten the connectors as they were no as strong as previous racks I bought, but for the money & delivery anyone that moans should stop whining and pay a much higher price for the extra quality they want. I for one am more realistic and well happy with the rack for how much it cost. Once built it is just as sturdy as my more expensive ones and I would not hesitate to buy this one next time

Strong and sturdy, easy-ish to assemble
Large and sturdy, easy-ish to put together and took sbout 15 minutes. Great for a kitchen or garage but not really suitable for a living room etc

Don’t use anywhere even slightly damp
Crucial information: Do not use these anywhere even vaguely damp. The MDF shelves are a mould magnet and in a couple of weeks will start to grow a nice green fur over their top surfaces. That’s unpleasant but is as nothing to the veritable biohazard you’ll find under them, which looks something like a cross between the set of Aliens and The Upside Down from Stranger Things. Sure, it might be the next penicillin, but it’d take a brave person to test that. All of this was in our shed which is weatherproof and perfectly happily homes various plywood shelves without issue; the only source of damp in there is the ambient air (there is a freezer in there). Also, it will smell like someone or something is using the place as a urinal (no, we’ve checked and set traps; there are no rodents or other animals in there). Therefore if they’re going into such a space you’ll need to factor in the cost of something else for the shelves - plywood, polycarbonate, steel, whatever - and you might decide that spending a bit more in the first place is a better idea. Hence, poor value for money. However, if they’re going somewhere 100% dry:Construction stuff: Yes, occasionally one of the tabs isn’t perfectly aligned. No big deal and nothing a pair of pliers or a screwdriver can’t sort. It all goes together fairly easily, although you need a pretty big hammer to get the shelf support pieces sat properly and fully into the legs (and a spare lump of wood to protect the metalwork from damage from the hammer!).Also, if you need these to be less than full height your only option is a hacksaw - unlike a bolt-together set, you can’t overlap the legs at all.I imagine changing the shelf spacing in future would be a pain too (again, unlike a bolted shelf set) and you can’t have a shelf within a few inches of the middle of the legs (again again, unlike a bolted set).

Use indoors
The shelves do not appear to be suitable for use in a garage as the shelves in our shed are mouldy with 6 months.
