Works flawlessly
Have made several projects with the only problem being my ability to learn the software that builds the models. It seems to work smoothly and properly. Happy with the product. Unhappy with my brain...

Works great with the 3030.
Assembly is pretty much take out of box. I plugged it right in and started up UGSplatform64 and started spinning.

Excessive backlash
I measured well over 1 degree of backlash, which is entirely unacceptable. UPDATE: Genmitsu reached out to me and issued a full refund. It seems like I may have just got a lemon.

Very fun, and quick easy way to get into the 4th axis
This thing can do a lot, and functions very accurately. I wish it could take a wider diameter stock. It would also be nice if it could take a plate instead of the chuck.

High quality work of art...
This is the first Genmitsu product I've had and I have to say I am really impressed. Wasn't sure what to expect, I had thought they were a budget brand, but not after getting this one. First impressions, it's just beautiful. So well made, high quality manufacturing with an outstanding fit and finish. I a just amazed. What is more amazing is there instruction book. Yes, it's like a book. I have reviewed so many products and many companies either don't included instructions or they are terrible. This one is very refreshing. not only do you get a "book", but it's very well done with great details and nice color quality pictures. It's very clear this company cares about putting out high quality products and it shows they care about their customers. Unit comes completely assembled, so you just mount it, plug it in and your off to the races. Since it's made for their CNC, it's made to fit perfectly. There is one thought on this, just something to keep in mind, it is a small rotary. It only does a 200 mm long piece. So you need to think if that size will work for you. Like I said, I don't have their CNC, I have the Onefinity, so I'll have to set it up for my CNC. With some testing, it does work well. Works as it should. Can't wait to use it more. Will update this if anything changes. It's rare I gush over a product, but this is one that deserves it. Would HAPPILY recommend this one. Outstanding.

Adding the fourth axis to top selling 4040 Pro CNC Router machine.
This 4th axis rotary kit comes pre-assembled reducing the setup time. Just be sure to keep it parallel when positioning, which isn't hard considering it mounts into the pre-cut holes of the baseplate. The jaws/chucks can handle stock that is just under an inch. To use the 4th axis rotary kit, you will need to purchase the Genmitsu CNC Router Machine Offline Control Module, Dial Design for Offline and 4-Axis Control Genmitsu 4040-PRO which is only about a quarter of the price of this 4th axis kit. You'll also need to be using, or purchase software that can handle 4th axis motion. I am really impressed with the 4040 Pro CNC router which is at the top of the heap in the sales rankings here at Amazon, being that it is a solid metal construction, and a great machine for those with non-commercial production needs. You simply will need to adjust your settings to make lighter passes which takes more time, but with mild settings the results are excellent.

Sturdy Enough For DIY Crafts
The build of this rotary is fairly sturdy for a hobby grade rotary. It is not large so you are limited to the size of parts that can be used. The main downside to it is that it needs the offline controller to use the rotary. It is relatively not that expensive, but an additional cost. It is stated in the description, but it should be more prevalent on the production page give this won't work without it. The tool rest slides easily to adjust for the size of the part. You can flip the jaws of the rotary depending on how you want to clamp on the work piece. Overall, while it is not a commercial grade rotary, it is well built and a nice compliment to the Genmitsu router. Just make sure you include the cost of the offline controller for budgeting purposes.

A little lightweight
I would have liked a Nema 23 motor for something like this - Nema 17 even with the 10:1 reduction seems underpowered. I will probably 3d print an adapter and install one myself.
