A varied choice in magnification and having a good light makes a close inspection so much easier. Using the 6x magnification leaves only a few centimetres between lenses and object so the use of a tool is limited. However, that magnification is great for inspection - and you probably don't need to use a tool at the same time. Tool work can be done at a lower magnification. Not at all heavy and stays in place. Very happy with it.

Useful entry level equipment .
I use this to repair watches. It gives clear magnification and a good working space using the two square lenses. When also adding in to use the highest magnification round lense it is necessary to move very close to the object being looked at. This leaves no access for tools but is useful as an inspection device and working under the square lenses gives ample magnification to carry out tool work. This is a cheap alternative to the expensive microscope type and enables the user to carry out work that would be impossible with the naked eye. A good entry level tool for anyone who like me is just starting the interesting journey into watch repair as a hobby.

tgesbigds rkng the wobecomi n is fastzomaA ,On opening box my first thought was how flimsy it is, on trying it on I found it uncomfortable, loading the batteries I found the light didn’t work, the magnification range a complete disappointment. It’s yet another rip off absolutely not worth close on £30.00 Amazon is fast becoming the worlds largest seller of tatt,unless it’s a brand I recognise I won’t be buying again Save your money and look elsewhere

The visor is of a good quality. The small light and extra flip down lens is particularly useful. The tightening screws at the side are less effective. But overall happy with my putchase
