Before buying, I thought $25 was a bit of a rip off, but I understand the price after some googling. The cleaning solution in this kit is DeoxIT D100L (a small bottle is ~$50) which must account for most of the steep price tag. The plastic tools are of good quality and it comes with very clear instructions. The rubber applicator to apply the cleaning solution is perfect for cleaning the contacts of charging ports. I did not have high expectations, but this saved my S23 Ultra's charging port. For context, I accidentally charged my phone overnight with a small amount of water in the charging port. I woke up (after several hours) to my phone notifying me their was water in the port and to unplug it. I dried the port, but my phone had troubles charging. Even though usb-c is symmetrical, my phone would charge with the cable in one orientation, but if I reversed it, it would not charge (or start and stop charging repeatedly). I figure some of the pins responsible for the USB power delivery were corroded or oxidized from charging with water in it. I used the cleaning solution and the little applicator plug to clean the contact, and I'm happy to report the issue is solved! It did take 3 or 4 applications. The little bottle of cleaning solution has a stick in it to pick up droplets of solution and apply it, but it was a little challenging to get the liquid out. I had to tilt the bottle slightly to coat the dropper stick and dispense onto the rubber applicator plug. After letting the solution sit a bit in my charging port and angling the rubber plug slightly while inserting/removing repeatedly, it's good as new.

I purchased another brand and also this one at the same time. The other brand and also this one works just as described. I purchased two brands to make sure at least one would work for my phones usb port that was in desperate need of a clean. I used both, and they both worked incredibly well. The following is what led me to get these cleaning kits... I was having a serious issue with my Android usb port. Every time I would charge my phone, it would start and stop randomly, and thought that possibly this (one thousand dollar) phone was dying, so I purchased a wireless charger to be able to charge my phone, but soon realized that that was going to be difficult to have with me all the time for when I needed it, so I decided to start looking more closely at the possibility that it may be an issue other than the phone dying. I found a lot of videos about usb ports on cell phones to have similar issues, and it was due to the fact that the usb port was dirty or had some sort of obstruction. I then got out my alcohol and swabs to try and clean the port, but soon realized that the swab was a bit too big and I wasn't able to get down inside the port for a more thorough clean, and I didn't want to break anything so I decided to search Amazon for an alternative way of cleaning the port. I found this cleaning kit and thought I would give it a try. Once I received this in the mail, I immediately opened the package with excitement, found the correct tool for my phone, and went to work. I used a couple different tools in the kit for a more thorough clean, and then I took out my jewelers magnifying glass to check my work. MERCY - the usb port looked as new as the day I purchased the phone. I was excited to plug in my phone to see if it would charge without stopping... After about 5 minutes of charging, I knew that YES - this had worked, and I was so relieved, but also that I didn't have to buy a new phone. It has been a few months since I made this purchase (and another brand that I used as well), and my phone is still charging like a champ - thanks to this cleaning kit. Thank you for creating this cleaning kit, and I am sure that I will be using this on other phones or other devices that have usb port in the future with excitement (what makes this one a bit more convenient than the other brand I also used, is the fact this one is more compact and easier to carry around in your pocket - but still does as great a job as the other brand I used)... Excellent product that I highly highly recommend. If you are struggling with the decision to get this - DON"T, just go ahead and make the purchase - you will not be sorry...

Handy little tool for cleaning out your phone charging port. Can save you from buying a new phone when you don't need to. I was about to get a new phone but I thought I'd try this thing out and glad I did. Use most of the tools on it to clean out the charging port on my phone and now it charges good with out any problems. Saved me money and I can just take it with me if I think the port needs more cleanin in the future. Each tool is easy to use and has its purpose. While it does seem durable sometimes I do feel like I may break a couple of the tools accidently because it's plastic. But decent price for fixing your phones charging.

Does a great job at clearing out the debris that can get into the charging ports, both in the cord and in the phone port. Very sturdy, and the size is pocket-sized ... each element clicks into place, so they don't fall out when using them. Used on multiple items already, and made a huge difference. Much easier/less costly than going to the local store to have it done. Along with canned air for final blow-out, works like a charm.

Ir gets the job don't but the bits are pretty cheap don't see it lasting all that long. Don't think I wpuld spend 20 bucks on another one though

Not sure it cleans anything. No instructions showing the best cleaning procedure. The original pure port kit worked great. This one doesn’t. Doesn’t fit tightly on USB-C components so who knows if it’s cleaning. Parts are small and hard to grip and hold. Ridiculously expensive for plastic tiny tools that don’t work. Pass on this.

A device leaked a very sticky substance into a charge cable, then transferred that sticky substance to the charging ports of several devices and other chargers. It was a mess. This product fixed all the problems nicely. I thought I was going to have to replace two phones and a bunch of chargers. This saved me a lot of money.

This product works as advertised. I received it but didn't use until my phone would just not charge. In addition, i could not get the cord to go in and stay connected. I went home and did as the instructions said and within minutes my phone was back in action. No charging or cord issues. Great product!

La livraison a mis plusieurs jours à se faire... Ça nettoie un peu mais pas assez, et je n'ai pas envie d'abîmer le port USB C Bref, peut-être que ça marchera mieux chez d'autres, mais chez moi c'est pas très convaincant malheureusement.
