The thing I always look for first in reviews of pillow covers is whether or not the opening is wide enough to insert the pillow without incident. Well, rest assured, because this zippered opening showed the quality of the stitching on these covers and is one of the best and sturdiest I've seen in a while. The size was true to the listing, so my pillow insert went in easily and fit perfectly. Due to the thicker fabric and textured design, there was no need to iron or steam these before use. I did, however, wash them after testing the size, and there was no color fading, and the brightness of the beautiful blue shade I selected remained true to its original color with no shedding, either. To get two of these for such a great price was a great find!

Best things about these pillow covers include: so inexpensive you can buy as many as you want or need so you can change up decor with the seasons, the colors are pretty true to what is represented online, the size is spot-on, the zippers work fine as long as you gently squeeze the pillow and don't' put stress on the stitching when trying to close them. I like the fabric because its very nature is nonslip. When you sit on the sofa with these pillow covers on your pillows, nothing scoots or shifts. It stays where you want it and you can get comfy. The ability to change up the texture of pillow covers is also wonderful. I mix and match them with printed pillow covers and they make changes of seasons or holiday a lot more fun when you can walk into the room and see something new or fresh.

Perfect size for my pillows: they're fitted, have a soft/ comfy fabric, and the zippers worked well. I'll be ordering them in more colors- great way to update a room without throwing out pillows (I hate wasting things we can repurpose, redesign, or reuse in some way).
