Absolute ZERO stars but that option is not ever available. This so-called way to control air flow from an air conditioner is SO badly designed it is a joke. Plastic so cheap that even the holes to put the attachments in broke at the slightest touch. And I kept trying to make use of what remained, only to have the anchoring strip not stick as advertised. They don't support the thing anyway. I did hold it up to a/c and it doesn't direct the air...it prevents the air from the room. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. EVEN IF I COULD RETURN THE PIECES I WOULD NOT USE FREE SHIPPING BACK TO AMAZON. The quality...WHAT QUALITY?... JUNK IS NEVER OF ANY QUALITY AND this product is garbage.

I bought this window AC windshield kit to help seal around my air conditioner, and it made a huge difference. It keeps the cold air inside and blocks out drafts and bugs. The material feels sturdy but easy to adjust, and installation only took a few minutes. It also gives the setup a much cleaner look. Definitely worth it if you have a window unit and want to save on energy.

Out of the box, the deflector is flimsy and difficult to work with. However, as it is assembled, it gets much more rigid. There are a lot of parts, more than needed. The instructions say to assemble there pieces and the parts are available but only two are needed. The instructions are poor and I had to rely on pictures on Amazon to finally determine how to assemble. After assembly, the deflector works great. This was purchased for my mom in her apartment to keep cold air from blowing on her while she rested on her sofa and it works. All in all, we are satisfied with this kit.

Bought this even though some reviews were bad. Glad I ordered it. The plastic sheet comes in a roll and will want to curl up if assembled incorrectly. You want to place the sheet on a flat surface like a dinner table with the curling face down. Then while pressing it down, place the foam sheet on top. It doesn't glue on, just place it on top. Then connect the curved plastic pieces as shown on the video or as shown on the written instructions provided. Placed it on my AC and it works as intended. One of the simplest products I've bought. It's a little flimsy and light weight. Be careful not to bump into it after installation. Concerns of it breaking are warranted. So just be careful around it. Overall, It functions and gets the job done. Took 20 minutes to assemble and about 2 to 5 minutes to stick and adjust on the window AC. Glad I bought it.

I hated that my bed was higher than the window AC and it really wouldn’t cool down my bedroom. The AC was useless, so I had to use a large plastic bin tub LID and prop it up to make the air flow up. Then my cat would always knock it down. Doing this blocked the whole side of the bed, so I couldn’t walk on that side. Then I found this! I’ve never seen or heard of this before! I was very hesitant in purchasing because i wasn’t sure it would work and it looked super cheap and flimsy. Plus I didn’t think it was worth paying almost $20 for it. But this was the best $20 I’ve spent on Amazon in a really long time! It does exactly what I’ve always wanted for years and didn’t know that this even existed! This shield reflects all the cold air up and over my bed now. The room FINALLY feels like I have AC!! It’s amazing! It doesn’t block the aisle anymore and it’s held up with my cat jumping near it and knocking it down. I would definitely buy it again it it ever breaks!! It’s a must have!!

If you want something pretty, this isn't the product for you. I think we can all agree this isn't made to be pretty. But if you want something that gets the job done, albeit a little cheaply compared to other products, this works fine. Assembling it was a little confusing. They could do better with the instructions. But it works.

The direction are horrible and the design looks like an elementary school child did it. It seemed like it was the way to go but it’s not adjustable in width and it requires one to use double sided tape so it almost as if it is permanent I rented it and got a full refund
