Great Product!!
> Worked great as a replacement. Fitment was right on and installed without any headaches. Fixed my 4WD engagement issue right away and everything is working like it should again. Parts feel solid and not cheap. Nice when you can swap something out and it just works instead of chasing problems. Good value for the price—would definitely use these again.

Perfect fit for my 2012 FX4
Went through the usual checklist when I heard what sounded like very loud road noise from the tires. Changed out the IWE solenoid and tube under the hood. Clearly needed it, but didn't fix the sound. Wasn't looking forward to pulling the CV axle off, so I waited until I did my brake job. So, it might have taken a while longer than most people. Once I got the driver's side done, I had it down pretty well. Passenger's side went much quicker. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give this about a 5-6 on level of difficulty. Especially if you've never done it. But, if you've replaced CV axles, tie rod ends and brakes, its just a few more steps, really. Ride is so much quieter now! Even for this ol' truck.

I bought these to fix the annoying grinding noise that comes when the actuator won't fully release. They work for that. They do not however allow the hubs to engage with load. 4x4 seemed to work at first, but it was not slippery where I live when I got them installed. Was having some struggles pulling a light (5000lbs) trailer on a slight incline in wet grass. Turned the knob and seemed great. Was pulling up the hill and when the front wheels grabbed traction there was a loud clunk when the hub disengaged itself. Now it will not re-engage, and when it should be in the engaged position it just ratchets on the axle. I've been thru 2 cheap Amazon iwe on the drivers side, while the passenger is still the one installed at the factory. Because of this I bought the 2 pack. Guess I'll go out tomorrow and put the other on. Ford 2, aftermarket shit. If the other changes my mind, or if something else is wrong that was not damaged by the rapid disengagement of these hubs, I will come back and update this review
