A good product

A bit disappointed in the quality. Where one of the handles attaches, in that spot on the inside of the colander there was a very very sharp spot. There is a lip on the colander and it seems the lip did not cover this part correctly as it should have. I also found where the handles attached on the outside of the colander that some were smooth and others had rough parts. Very hard to describe all this, but I guess to sum it up I am just a bit disappointed with the many rough metal areas that I think as far as quality control should have definitely been caught and smoothed out. I would say pay a bit more and get a different brand. I can't help but question all the 4-5 point reviews; the wording on them being questionable and wondering if they are paid reviews or not.

This is a great colander! Wider than deep which to me makes for easier pouring with less chance of a mess. Lightweight, attractive and VERY easy to clean up. I also recently bought a set of six stainless steel mixing bowls of various sizes and other than the largest bowl (which I could seriously bathe my dog in), they all nestle neatly in this colander for space saving storage. Timely delivery and excellent customer service as well! Highly recommend this seller and this product!

This colander is a kitchen essential. From washing berries, or straining pasta to steaming veggies; this stainless steel colander earns its storage space in your cabinet. I ordered this one after my son borrowed mine because he couldn't find one like it in local dept. stores. It drains quickly and thoroughly due to the densely perforated stainless basket. Two handles are helpful in managing hot strained food like pasta or potatoes. They also suspend the basket over a big pot for steaming. The basket rests on small "feet" that keep things draining when resting in a bowl or your kitchen sink. It's dishwasher safe, but if it ever gets cloudy (from steaming or using on your grill) just clean it with a damp paper towel dipped in "Bar Keepers Friend" multi purpose cleanser/ polish and it'll shine up like new.

This is a great colander. Drains everything perfectly from browned ground meat to pasta and then goes in the dishwasher. Love the hole size and the fact that the holes don't change size in different areas of the colander. It is sturdy but light. Have had it for at least a year and it shows no signs of wear or rust. I have other things that are called stainless steal that have rusted but this colander is as good as new despite being subjected to hot food and the harsh cleaning in the dishwasher.

I purchased this colander a few weeks ago and have used it numerous times. In that time I have had no problems with it. Overall it feels well constructed, durable and it actually looks pretty good too.

The colander is nice, I like that it's low & wide. I really hate mesh colanders & I have been trying to find a stainless steel colander that has holes small enough to rinse rice prior to cooking without the rice slipping through. Unfortunately, this colander doesn't fit the bill. But I think overall, it's a nice quality, especially for the price, & will be suitable for rinsing just about anything else. So, 4/5 stars i/o 5/5.

The perfect addition to my kitchen tools! The holes are small enough so I can wash split-peas, beans and pretty much anything I want. It is surprisingly easy to clean, a lot less tid-bits get stuck unlike my last strainer! Great price and value.

This is a great item. If you're looking for a high-quality colander there's no need to pay more. It is big enough for washing any fruits or green, but not enormous so you can easily find a place for it even you have small kitchen. It is lightweigh and easy to wash. What else to dream of?

It was time to retire my very old plastic colander and decided to try this metal one. It's sturdy and works great. When draining pasta though, you need to clean the colander quickly or else the pasta gets stuck in the holes and its tough to clean. it's a good product.

It does its job. No problems thus far, just make sure that you place it in a large container filled with water when manually-cleaning. That way it’s actually clean.

I have been using this strainer for 5 months now and it still looks brand new. I put it in the dishwasher and never have any issues. It is an amazing strainer for the price and I would highly recommend it.

This is the best colander I've ever used. Sturdy, light-weight, and it drains almost instantly. Good for washing fruit, draining pasta, and other things I haven't thought of, I'm sure. I would definitely buy this again. I heartily recommend it!!
