Inexpensive quality fix
Bought as a YouTube way of do it yourself fixing of worn wear ring on my jet boat. Saved hundreds, improved power and reduced temperature. Takes time and patience, but again, saved hundreds.

Follow the directions and it will work on most anything...
I had a leak coming from some polybutylene pipe which was recalled a coupe of decades back.. my mobile home is full of it.. I have had to piece new piping all over this place because of pinhole leaks. I bought this as a first option to make the leak stop... it was in a hard plave to get to... a toilet right next to a bathtub and it was the pipe coming out of the floor to the toilet.. the intake I guess you could call it... My leak was just under the shut off valve so shutting that off was not working. water still leaked. So, I buy this after doing some research, and I find it ery simple and easy to mix. My assumption was that this would work on wet surfaces, not that it was to be used in marine style applications then becomes waterproof... I put it on but the water was still leaking... didnt really work... I then shut the water off for a day , removed the old weld, cleaned up like the directions say to and reapplied the MarineWeld to the pinhole area and then I decided to just put it around the entire pipe. I wait another day and see that it has dried and cured. turn the water on and the leak was slowed but not stopped.. I am ok with this product because when used properly it can fix certain things.. I am not so certain the poly pipe is meant to be used at all , let alone patched with Marineweld.. Im a girl. I tried to do it the least invasive way... but I ended up sawing out the entire shut off valve and the bad part of the pipe with it.. bought some same size flex.. 1/2" and a new shut off valve... once I got all of that on and together... no more leaks..

A Reliable Solution for Household Repairs
J-B Weld 8272 MarineWeld Marine Epoxy is a versatile product that I've found to be incredibly effective for a variety of repairs. Two years ago, I used it to seal a leak in my baseboard heat copper lines, and it's still holding strong. While it's not a permanent solution for every repair, J-B Weld MarineWeld is a great option for quick fixes and temporary solutions. It's easy to apply, dries quickly, and is incredibly durable. If you're looking for a reliable epoxy adhesive, I highly recommend this product.

Great for Repairing a Fountain
I have a multi-tier, resin garden fountain that is around 10 years old. They don't make that fountain anymore & similar ones are 4 times the price now. I can't bear the thought of having it dumped in a landfill either. So every spring I check the fountain for hairline cracks & tiny holes using a flashlight. This JB Marine Weld makes it easy to repair those spots. I let it dry overnight, touch everything up with a little spray paint and the fountain is functional again. For larger holes, pliable screen netting can be cut to shape and then covered over with this welding paste. It dries solid and is alot stronger than you think. Highly recommend this!! Lots of possible uses with a little creative thinking.

I like this weld. I used it to shore up a developing crack on a crockpot. Extends the life of the crockpot, which would be hard to replace. The cured material is just as hard as the ceramic. The patch I put in place did partially break off after many years, however most of it is still in place.

This really does the job. Used when our old porcelain toilet cistern developed a crack and started weeping from it. As an emergency measure I drained it dry, plastered some of this MarineWeld inside along the crack and a good margin either side, left it dry for the recommended 15 hours and refilled. That was a full 5 years ago with not a trace of water escaping. Then a fine crack appeared in another part of the cistern, and I did the same thing again and used up the other half of the original tubes which had sat in the garage and were still perfectly usable. Again, perfect result, no more weeping cistern. If I replace the cistern I'll have to completely replace all the fittings in that room as they're all matching and well over 30 years old and still otherwise performing absolutely fine. Massive save, thanks JBWeld, brilliant product! I bought it again because I always want some handy in case of future need :o) Originally recommended by a friend who clearly knows his materials!
