Once I figured it which wasn't long this thing is a champ. I bought it to cut off the old bed of a trailer I bought. I worked great and when my son used I learned new tricks to using one and it went so much faster. If you want to cut some stuff up this the machine will do the job. For the price you can't go wrong.

It cuts nice !!

I was so skeptical - really a plasma cutter for this price.... but any human can successfully cut metal with this thing. I was cutting 1/2 steel the first time I fired it up. If you have a compressor, just set it at about 80 psi, crank this thing (if it's plugged into 220) it will get through it. I had a big job using galvanized 18 gauge structural metal studs - the kind you cant use snips on - and this thing was like a little light saber. Made the entire job soooo much easier. Get extra tips... they tend to lose their "sharpness" or "punch" after awhile. Oh - and I also made some cool fire rings out of 55 gallon drums with this thing. I live in Alaska, so I hand drew some fish and stars and ravens. Too easy. You can set the tip right on the metal you are working on, or hold it just off... it has no problem arcing. If youre like me, and don't make a living doing metal work, but want an easy to use machine that will hold up and get just about any job done, this is perf. I'm gonna but one for an old dude I know who is a super talented carpenter who does a little metal work here and there. He will be stoked!

I haven’t got a chance to use this machine on any projects yet but I did some test runs on different materials and I have to say I’m impressed! I would definitely recommend this machine. Small, lightweight and easy to set up!

Straight out of the box and straight back to Amazon. Unit powers up just fine, fan works, digital display worked, air was clearly flowing into the unit, but pull the trigger on the torch and nothing happens. Now I'm even further behind on this project. Thanks, Simder

For any wanting just a quick straight out the box & performance review & not so much a longevity review which I'll give later but right out the box this is an awesome little plasma. I took the cover off first thing to check all connections & just to see how well built it is & I will say I was surprised especially as cheap as it's priced which is great. Everything is tight, all connections is well seated, glued & good to go as you would expect. Far as performance using it with 220 volts 40 amp breaker & being a 40amp plasma, you would think or expect 1/2 inch solid steel stock would be it's max at even trying to cut but I took it further & went straight to 3/4 inch A36 steel plate at 43amps which is how high mine goes with 60psi & I can say it will cut 3/4 no problem. No it's not the best cut as it cut in a slight angle which tilting the head helps fix that but it actually cut right through it way smoother than I thought it would be of course at a very slow pace & never once blowed back in a 4 inch long cut & very little slag on the back side as well. I'm surprised & satisfied with the results plus the head cooling works excellent as well. It only comes with one extra set of consumables but for the price & consumables being cheap, It's well worth it & the torch is a PT-31. It is High Frequency but not Pilot arc but you do not have to touch the metal to start it. I tested it up to 1/8 inch off the metal & the arc started no problem every time. Far as longevity we'll see but I'll still give it a 5 star & highly recommend it.

Update, I was able to hook this up to 220 at a different Location and it worked I was impressed, I did cut a 3/4 inch thick mild steel and had to work at it, anything over 1/8 was starting to be a challenge, I'm blaming myself so I recommend this and will buy it again dqn't like the directions, to vague, the airline popped off on the inside of the unit, I only used it on 110v tomorrow I'll hook it up to 220 and see how it does, I was super excited then became very frustrated, hopefully the 220v I'm hopeful that it will preform the way I expect it to work

Es una herramienta muy útil, económica a largo plazo, facil de usar y aunque no la e estrenado ya he tenido similares a esta y la recomiendo ampliamente para quienes aman realizar trabajos de herrería e incluso fabricar y/o renovar en tu hogar.
