Product does what it's supposed to do, close a medium to light weight door. I compared it to the big box door closer of similar specifications and it does the same thing, and it is a smoother close with less noise. You will need to adjust the spring tension to get a good close with this device, add lubricant to the spring, and be careful with the supplied screws (one of mine broke). I tested the stainless steel quality of the casing with a magnet and surprisingly it didn't stick to the housing, which means good quality stainless steel (big box closer is cast metal). The look of the device is industrial, so that is a personal choice. Installation was easy.

My spare fridge had the tendency of being left open when guests were over. This solved the problem for short money. FYI - Do not screw / drill into the the body of a fridge, you could have cooling lines within the walls and cause a leak permanently breaking your fridge. I reversed the install in my case, mounting this too the door rather than the door frame / fridge body. If your fridge had square corners, you will have to bend the arm 90 degrees to get this to work. My fridge has rounded corners so I bent mine 45 degrees and it worked out great. Installing this on the narrow side of the door will not work, the arm will make contact with the fridge body when you get the door only 1/2 way open. See the pics to make sense of the bends and mounting position. The freezer door test worked so well that I will be buying a second for the fridge door.

At my store, I have a bathroom door that is pretty lightweight. The state of Nebraska requires that a bathroom door self closes (and latches shut). This is not strong enough to latch the door but does the closing. Its a good alternative to spring loaded closer arms and much better than those ones that mount onto the door hinges.The metal plate provide to protect the door is much too short to protect across the full range of motion...however the wheels are rubber coated and seem to be not abrasive. The provided screws are of poor quality. Two broke during install.Does what I want and would be good in a home. As for commercial use, we'll see if its still closing in year. Would like a heavier spring though.

I am very satisfied with the strenghth of the spring inside of this door closer. I have a heavy door and it has no issues closing it. It was an easy install. The fact that it has a roller at the end of the swing rod keeps my door scratch free. I made a good purchase selecting this door closer.

I had to get this because my grandparents could not open the door with a heavy door closer. This will not close a door fully; this is only for doors without knobs.I have had this for about 5 months now, and still works fine.

My family seems to have a problem closing the small fridge in the garage. This works perfectly to keep the door closed.

I love this product. It installs easily with the addition of a 3/4" thick x 1 3/4" with x 5" high piece of wood to assist installation. Once I learned to adjust it for our opening, it was easy to set up. I love that it works and allows us to open the door to 170°. I plan on replacing all my openers/ closers with these.
