Before I started taking these. along with my other dietary supplements, I was waking up 3-6 times a night feeling like I had to pee. After I started taking these, by the 3rd night, I was only getting up once a night. By the end of a week, I often slept through the night without any interruption. During the second week I did wake up a couple of nights, but it was because my bladder was actually full, not just feeling like I needed to pee, but because I actually did need to pee.Now, I really didn't expect it to work all that well. From what I read online about prostate supplements in studies it usually took 2 months to see improvements, so I ordered a 4 month supply to see if it made any difference in the time period indicated by studies. I cenrtainly didn't expect such fast and dramatic results. I even waited until the end of the 2nd week to be sure it wasn't just some sort of placebo effect, but as I didn't expect much, that seems unlikely.Now, this worked for me. That doesn't mean it will work for every person. I am 61, eat healthy and exercise regularly and am in generally good heath, and do not take any prescriptions, although I do take a lot of dietary supplements. When it comes to supplements, I stick to brands which independent labs found actually contain what the labels say, such as Life Extension, Nature Made, and Trader Joe's. There are many unethical supplement companies that sell you crap that doesn't do anything, while there are others that just have very poor quality control. Check out the manufacturer's reputation BEFORE purchasing and do your own research to be sure your get quality supplement products.At this point, which my current supply of this supplement runs low, I intend to repurchase it, as I intend for it to be a part of my regular supplement regime.My greatest concern was how prostate problems interrupted my sleep. Interrupted sleep is a definite known problem that can lead to dementia later in life. As my oldest brother died of dementia related issues, my interrupted sleep became a concern. Another finding is that low vitamin D also is associated with dementia later in life.As to other age related problems caused by the prostrate, my sex drive is still absent, although I have notice an increase in night time erections, so that may eventually return. I am not all that concerned about that. I am happy being single and sex would just make my life more complicated. My sex drive died when I was on a drug for leukemia, almost ten years ago now. So, it is possible my sex drive may eventually come back, but so far, no, it hasn't. But it has only been two weeks.

Wow! This product has been a game changer for my husband. He also regularly takes Ancestrial Prostate glandular. For years, He has taken so so many different products that seem similar to Life Extension Ultra Prostate but in no way do the others give the same result. He has gone from getting up a few times a night to pretty much never having to get up at night. He is amazed. No other product has given this kind of result. Highly recommend this product.

I used one bottle of the 3 i bought since I'm overseas. I read reviews and lots of positive feedback. But after one bottle I'm still peeing 4 times a night with a stream that's getting worse. Complete waste of money. Wish I could say wow great product but unfortunately it did nothing after 30 days of never missing a day.

The problem with this product is it has arrived damaged about one out of six times. The softgel capsules leak. The first time it was a small leak and I was able to clean the remaining softgels. The second time multiple capsules must have leaked and I had to request a refund. As for efficacy, it's hard to tell because I only took it for about a year. It doesn't cause indigestion or any kind of burping, so that's good.

What I've found over the past five years is that I need both saw palmetto AND beta sisterol. I've bought these twice, seem to help everything flow out without too much delay or hesitation.
