My search is finally over! After years of trying dye after dye to get rid of my prematurely grayed beard, I finally found one that doesn’t cause 3rd degree chemical burns on my face.If you’re a guy that literally and figuratively got burned by JFM beard dye, this is your solution. My beard was early all white by the time I was in my mid 40’s. Shaving it off made me look even older, so I started dying it with JFM beard dye. That worked fine. Mild itching and irritation that subsided after a couple days, then about 5 years ago, something changed. JFM swears their formula didn’t change, but I don’t believed them. After using it without any major problems for a couple years, all of a sudden it started causing severe burns on my face. Sores would form that weeped and itched and hurt for at least a week after using it. By the time they healed, the color was already fading. I had to stop using it and find something else. I trying so many different brands, all of them claimed to be gentle, non-irritating, or any manner of descriptions that gave me hope they wouldn’t cook my face and leave me looking like a burn victim.Some were less irritating, most were just as bad as JFM.I read about Refectocil a couple years before I actually pulled the trigger on buying any. I was skeptical after being literally burned so many times and it’s not exactly cheap. I was hesitant to drop almost $40 on what I considered a long shot. Besides, in the interim, I’d started using temporary beard color from a couple different companies with some success. Blackbeard and Volt, both of which work very well and don’t irritate my skin, but they’re not ideal. There is a learning curve to applying, so the results aren’t always consistent, it made my beard feel stiff and has a tendency to get gummy after extended wear. Also, it’s a bit inconvenient to apply daily, so I eventually stopped wearing it unless I felt like the occasion warranted me looking my best. There are definitely drawbacks.One day I just thought screw it and decided to give Refectocil a shot. I’m glad I did. It works great. Doesn’t irritate my skin and it’s exactly what I’ve been searching for. The shades are somewhat limited compared to JFM, so it may require that you experiment with different shades to find one you’re comfortable with. I mix light brown and graphite and that suits me well. As a precaution, I also use Powertools Stop the Burn added to the dye before I apply it to my face. I’ve dyed 2 times in less than 2 weeks before and still didn’t have irritation. Try this, you won’t regret it!

The product is very good. I have been using this type of dye for many years. In my opinion, the product should be sold separately. You can't buy the jar every time you need dye.

Product is always consistent. Works great and lasts over a week!

This product saves me from going to the esthetician every three weeks. Sometimes a little difficult to get the stubborn white hairs tinted.

Io lo uso da anni , questa volta devo dire che sono rimasta male dal colore perché tende troppo al rossiccio però ho voluto provare un colore più chiaro del solito 3 che uso ! Quindi perché vorrebbe acquistarlo dico che è molto caldo! Però la marca è ottima e io la uso da anni quindi stra consigliato !
